This album should have got a lot more notice from the so called rock fans. The last three songs alone on this treasure is worth my hard earned money.

Although I am excited that vinyl has made a "comeback" and many new releases such as this one are being released on vinyl, I would almost prefer if it was not released on vinyl if the same over compressed master is used on the vinyl release that was used for the digital release. Using the same "loud" master with no dynamic range defeats the purpose of releasing it on vinyl. The music itself is not bad, but it's enjoyment is seriously compromised by the mastering. I was hoping releases like GNR's "Chinese Democracy" and the White Stripes's "Icky Thump" would end the loudness war, at least on vinyl. Go ahead and destroy dynamic range for I-Tunes, but please leave it alone on vinyl.

I saw them a couple years ago and thought their new lead singer sounded great. On this album, they should have let him do his thing. Instead, they had Jerry sing over all the vocals through some "Wanna Sound Like Lane" processor. Duvall can sing his rear off, and they failed to take a chance. Elton John, you're a rock-n-roll legend, but please don't ever squeeze your way onto another rock album. Way to end the album with a dud.
