I thought this movie was boring one of the worst Johnny Depp movies I have seen

Didnt like movie so much it wasnt action i was looking for

I'm a huge Johnny Depp fan. That being said, this movie was BORING!

Johnny Depp played a great character. Real Mob movie portrayal.

I immediately disliked the film because of all the cursing. I was really embarrassed in front of my wife! It was difficult to follow the story going back and forth in past to present day occurrence.

Johnny Depps performance is astonishing. If you can't see that you really don't know how to watch a movie. I may or may not have already written a review for this but this is up on the classic list of Scarface, Carlito's Way, Casino, The Departed, Goodfellas, & Blow. All legendary movies, and 10 years from now, people will still talk about how Johnny Depp got snubbed at the Oscars for this amazing performance. He truely immerses himself in the character & is genuinely freaky/scary at times. The classic movie rating: 4/4 Stars.

While not the most exciting storyline, Johnny excels in his performance. Sure shows he can play a serious role and not just funny roles. Supporting actor, Joel Edgerton (playing John Connolly) also does a superb job in this one. Pretty much a gangster "guys" movie so I'm sure all the guys out there will enjoy it. I did.

One of Johnny Depps best performances ever! Depp is absolutely terrifying as Whitey Bulger. Set in the 70s, Black Mass follows Bulgers rise to prominence in Boston with the help of the FBI. Great crime drama I would highly recommend it

This was a good movie. Johnny Depp did a great job as Whitey Bulger despite the makeup. It was a bit distracting. Joel Edgerton was the real star here though. He should have been nominated for this.

Big fan of Johnny Depp, this film is another classic from him. Well written script and Depp's acting is always top notch. I would recommend this film for any fan of gangster/mob films.

Black Mass is an excellent movie! Johnny Depp looked so much like Whitey Bulger, I thought Whitey's role was played by the Boston organized crime leader himself.

Johnny Depps acting performance alone is reason to buy this film. It's an awesome acting performance in a solid movie you sure to enjoy.
