The story of whitey bulger is a great story about how the fbi works too .mthe cast is great and surprise for me the extras are really good too for a bluray

Finally, Johnny Depp stars in something that's not a franchise cash-in or a favor to a friend of his. Depp is intense, and entirely carries the film, where I absolutely bought him as a violent criminal trying to leverage everything he had to remain ahead. The plot...well, the story was concise at least, but in the end, the film felt like a pointless endeavor. Great to watch for performances, but give us a reason to care. I give it a tepid recommendation.

Johnny Depp turns in a great performance with an amazing cast. The movie was very good but violent. Just what you would expect from a gangster flick.

When watching keeps you on your toes, what's this guy going to do next then he doesn't let you down. But to know it is all from a true story wow just wow.

Yet another Mob movie, but Depp is actually kind creepy in this one. Almost makes his role as The Mad Hatter and Sweeney Todd seem like Toy Story.

Black Mass is another ingenious hit for Johnny Depp if you are a major fan. He gets into his character after full analysis and gives a great perfomance.

Johnny Depp surprised me in this. I didn't think that he could pull off being a gangster but I thought he did a fine job. It's worth a watch.

Usually I wasn't a big Quentin movie fan but I thought I would give it a try since im a cowboy movie fan but I was surprised it was pretty good.

Bulger was a gangster with no limitations, but it surprises me how the government allowed alot of these things he did happen??,,, Depp was incredible.

From the first scene to the last, this movie groped us. Between Johnny Depp and his amazing acting, to the truth following story, we highly recommend.

This is the best movie of this genre since "Goodfellas". Depp was Academy Award worthy in his depiction of Whitey Bulger. Not for the weak of heart...

One of Johnny Depp's best performances. Hard to believe it's him in that make up. Great mob movie and even better knowing it's based on a true story.
