This was a great movie. A different kind of movie for Johnny Depp. Shows the kind of person Whitey was. I really enjoyed this movie. I could watch it over and over again.

I do like Johnny Depp, this was one of his better performances, there were some scenes that were pretty brutal, so be warned. If you like Depp, definately worth seeing.

This is one of Depp's better movies where he shows his acting range. Specifically, Depp consistently plays the same d.a.m.n character in almost every movie.

Great movie but had a few slow parts. Could have been a little longer and had some more action scenes. This is a great american story and much more could have been told.

I'm a huge gangster movie buff. Adding this one to my collection was mandatory. Johnny Depp once again ripped it. If you like mob movies, this one needs to be on your shelf.

If you like gangster movies, this is the one. Hardcore from start to finish. Definitely a must see for a good drama. Johnny Depp really surprises in this role. Loved it.

Black Mass is a very good movie. Johnny Depp is at his best. The movie is a bit dark but rings true to the evil subject. I recommend it to all who appreciate great acting.

I expected a great movie and got..a great movie! It went on sale for Black Friday so I had to snag a copy. Plus, it's freakin Johnny Depp! When hasn't he delivered?

Johnny Depp seems to get better and better when it comes to his dramatic characters. I loved him in Donnie Brasco and he did equally well if not better in Black Mass

I've lived in Massachusetts myventire life. BI'm very familiar with Whitey Bulgar and his gang. The movie gives you an intake on Whitey as a head gang member but also as a family man. he had a very large heart for his family but sadly he didn't have the same heart for those of his victims. If he had that same heart he wouldn't have done the things he had throughout the years. I would probably recommend this movie to people who are familiar with Whitey Bulgar and don't live in Massachusetts.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It is a movie anyone of the appropriate age will enjoy. I especially enjoyed it since I grew up in the area where the story took place.

This movie was well acted and filmed. The only minor flaw that I could have done without is the flash-forward interviews. It slightly took away from the films attitude.

Johnny Depp in another twisted character. Well acted. Nice job of fitting it in time with vehicles, clothes, household items. Kind of an abrupt ending.

Johnny Depp's performance was solid as ganster Whitey Bulger. The collaboration between ganster and FBI kept me on edge.
