My husband got me hooked on this series. The characters and the plots are awsome. Even though this is fiction I love the history behind it.

love this show. has it all. drama action anything pretty much you can ask for but the show keeps you interested and wanting to see more.

This is a very good series! It's not up there with the likesame of Game of Thrones or Breaking Bad in my opinion, but it's really good none the less.

The characters were great, the wonderful ships and locations brought the show to life. The storyline really showed what scoundrels pirates really could be.

I didn't know much about this series but for the Black Friday price Best Buy was offering I figured I couldn't be too upset. It was totally worth it!

This is a great series it’s a shame the first season is only 8 shows....and I can’t wait for season 2 once it’s done on the pay channel.

This is another example of how private channels are putting out better shows than the networks. Give it a try. I think you'll like it.

Got this on a whim on a Black Friday purchase for a killer price. I thought it was really well crafted and am looking forward to buying the second season.

Like most new series, the creators planned a great first season. Well worth watching. But, the true test is in its 2nd series. Will it fare as well ... ?

It isn't quite as engaging or keeping you on the edge of your seat as some other Starz series, but Black Sails is beautifully shot and is fun to pass the time.

Black Sails is rough and gritty, filled with foul language and belligerent characters, but that is exactly how a pirate show should be

I would recommend this. I haven't watched the whole season yet, but what I have seen already has been great. Looking forward to watching more.

great action, suspense, drama. Ive just begun watching this series and albeit late, Im binge watching to catch up

Great show but the packaging leaves much to be desired. It's slipcase. Show is politics and pirates pre-treasure island

The series looked interesting enough for me to buy. It turned out pretty good. I can't wait for the second season to be released.

I gave it a 4-5 stars because it dident have the gore wen they had the ship battles we need it to se an arm flying at list.over all cant wait for season 2!
