Black Sails is one of the best Pirate stories that has hit the air waves. The first three seasons were beautifully done as far as cinematography and story line. It was Treasure Island on the small screen. The characters were interesting and smart. The fourth season wrapped up the series with Captain Flint and Long John Silver sealing their friendship with some tough choices on both sides. I enjoyed this tale very much. I hope you do too.

No spoilers for those that haven’t seen it, but this final season was a great ending to a fantastic series. This show has always been a great way to showcase my home theatre set up! The cannon fire shakes the house through the sub and the HD is beautiful for picking up all the blue Caribbean water. The discs included in this set lived up to the previous standards- great A/V. Only reason this wasn’t a 5* was because for some reason, my copy didn’t come with the lenticular slip sleave, so it doesn’t match the previous entries I have. 1st world problems aside, highly recommend!

Great show, sad this is the last season. Some characters you come to like a lot, so it is disappointing when they die. Others remain core to the show. Great photography, lots of action. I got a wonderful price on it Black Friday. Sorry to say, didn't realize that I don't have season 3, so I will have to buy that as well!

Worth to buy the entire series of course. A Disc in my Season 3 doesn't work but I can still watch it in the Digital online . It happens. The series is good and I think it ended where it should have. I wasn't thrilled the way it ended with the Captain as much but it doesn't really take away from a great series.

Best price yet on the conclusion to this great series. Black Sails was one of the best historical dramas I have seen. Great stories and realistic action sequences. Recommend it highly. Once the box set comes out, I will buy that as well.

This 4th season ends the saga, from the book of Treasure Island. Great action and violence. Kids should not watch this, but the movie reflects how it would have been. You have to watch all seasons to fully understand the story.

The final season of Black Sails is fun, but it is like so much of the series. It has some great things going for it, but they fail to fully realize the possibilities. Plus, I know I'm a history major and I enjoy the mix of history and fantasy, but the historical accuracy of the series could be better. That not only references the actual pirates they portray, but the fictional ones from Treasure Island they build the story around.

I loved this series and how it tied into the books but hated that it seemed rushed. The show ended so the story was rushed to completion. I would have loved a longer view of this universe but the story ended so quickly.

In short: this show rivals the show Game of Thrones. If you are looking for a show that includes: action, attractive characters, political intrigue, etc... then you will like this show. The ending is satisfying as well.

I really liked the series the are not to many if any tv shows with pirates as the the theme the series shows the hard ships of the them in there way of of life I would recommend you watch this series

Season 4 is no disappointment. The AQ/PQ were top notch. If you have Dolby Atmos set up at home, you will enjoy this season even more. A must have.

A fitting end to a pretty entertaining series I the story depiction of the time was also good a tv season involving pirates was great wish that it was other season that would be released

I was really happy to find Black Sails 4. This now completes my set. It was impossible to find at other retailers. I have 1,2 and 3. Good series. Can't wait to see what happens next.

I have watched " Black Sails " since the beginning. The stories of the characters are separate but in the end they all connect to one another. I've always loved the water and pirates.

If you like pirate stories then this is a good mini series to watch. Unfortunately this swason was the end of this series. Even though it was short it was entertaining to watch.

All season of Black Sails are very good-great! It's not like your typical pirate stereotype that is delivered in most pirate movies you've seen. Definitely worth checking out!

Season 4 was not a disappointment in this too short series. Packed with a ton of action, and a number of surprises along the way. Cannot overstate how great this series was!

I really enjoyed the Black Sails series TV show. This is the final season. Must-have for any fan of the series. If you're unfamiliar with the series start with season 1.

Black Sails is one show that I enjoy. I love the modern day telling of historical times. Great story, great action, great acting.
