Black Sea was a movie I had hoped to catch in a theater, specially after reading decent reviews of the it, sadly it didn't make much of a splash in theaters so I had to wait for the video release. I watched the movie finally and I enjoyed it for the most part. While I didn't think it was as good as some of the other submarine oriented movies out there like "Crimson Tide" or "Hunt For Red October", I still found the movie to be good entertainment and can recommend it, specially if you enjoy movies that take place underwater.

This movie has it all action, intriguing plot and good acting. I bought film based on blind buy and based on film jacket. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was a very good movie. It's not been advertised like the other blockbusters and I had to ask sales staff if the carried it. I definitely recommend that you check it out if your tired of the current Hollywood failures that have been highly promoted but fail to deliver.

While somewhat cliched, Black Sea is a very respectable submarine caper, bolstered by Jude Law's vanity-free turn. The Blu-ray looks and sounds great, and it's got a couple of solid bonus features.

I am an avid Jude Law fan. He is one of the great actors in Hollywood that can play any role........and play a believable part. Did not hear much of this movie prior to purchase. I watched this with my son and we both glued to the TV. Great story which is acted very well. All the performances are genuine. A must see for those that like a good drama/suspense movie.

I had great expections as a fan of Jude Law but this wasn't exactly an Oscar winner. Didn't get to see it the theater but kinda regret buying it full price. Great movie anyway.

The action in the movie is worthwhile - especially if you like underwater challenges. Black Sea shows how greed affects human relationships under pressure. Good movie.

Good movie definitely worth your time have a soda and a nice pizza relax but this movie on and you'll be having a great evening it real soon

Do you get cabin fever? For if you do this may be a bit too much. Jude law does a fine job in his part in the film. Dark and mesmerizing

Good role for Jude Law, showing some maturity in his role. Great twist at end that I did not see coming.

Great Picture & Sound. Anybody who likes sub's and the ocean should like this movie. Happy Over all.
