I was surprised it was nominated for Best Picture but its agreat movie nonetheless. If you like Spike Lee movies, this is definitely one of his better movies. Interesting story and kept you interested. Definitely a good pick up on 4k when it's on sale, looks and sounds great.

Jesus this felt like a documentary... seriously the remaining 15 mins of the movie are just hard hitting, they even have actual footage of what’s wrong with our America now. Hopefully this opens yours eyes.

It's an Awesome movie to see cause it happened for real. It's a movie that any realists would enjoy because anybody wouldn't believe that something like this happened back in the 70's but it did happen.

My wife and I were not able to see this movie in our local movie theater and am happy we were able to purchase it at a good price from BestBuy and am looking forward to watching it as often as we want.

Spike Lee created an authentic 70s vibe to tell the story of racism and an infiltration of the Klu Klux Klan. An eye opening look at how racism is and has developed in this country over the years.

This is a brilliant movie that recalls the best of Lee's work and manages to use the language of a buddy cop movie to provide serious insight into contemporary race relations. Highly recommended!

I've never been a big Spike Lee fan, but BlacKkKlansman feels like his most well rounded film that I have seen. Great acting, the plot is well paced and the comedic timing is spot on.

I bought this film blind based on my brother's recommendation... and I'm happy I did! The story - based on a true story: a black cop infiltrates the KKK. These 6 words sold legendary Hollywood director Mr. Spike Lee to make this film. It's funny, edgy, timely, suspenseful, and so much more! Mr. Lee directed Denzel Washington's son John David Washington, and he along with Adam Driver, Laura Harrier, and company deliver the acting goods. On to the 4K part of the review: Mr. Lee is a classical filmmaker, and as such, his camera type of choice is film, not digital. The benefits of a native 4K scan really pop in the video presentation. I have a 4K projector (Optoma UHD51A), and in playing this film, my 4K UHD Blu-ray player (Sony UBP-X800) automatically switched to 24 frames per second, prompting my projector to display at 2160p (4K) 24Hz mode, giving this presentation the most authentic movie theater experience I've witnessed since I installed my new home theater system. The Dolby Atmos 7.1 audio (surprisingly!) delivers and then some. With this film being a mostly dramedy picture, I expected little to no audio to come out of any speaker other than the center. I was pleasantly mistaken. Scene audio sporadically came out of the left and right channels, but the real treat was during the auditorium scene when Corey Hawkins' character was speaking to the audience, and his voice from the podium came out of the center speaker, while the in-movie audience reaction/dialogue came out of the surround speakers, putting the viewer in the audience of Kwame Ture's speech. The film is great, and even if you don't have a 4K player yet, pick up the 4K copy as it does come with a standard Blu-ray to "future-proof" this film in your collection. Highly recommended!

Great movie for the most part. Historically unbelievable and yet probably mostly true. Adam Driver is amazing. Spike Lee took the easy way out politically by tying yesterday's political climate to today's, but I get it. All in all. Very good movie.

This was a very entertaining movie, particularly because it was based on a true life event. Acting was very, very good, plot / storyline excellent. This one of those movies that will get multiple viewing over the years and be shared with family & friends!

Possibly my favorite film from him. Do the Right Thing was better but this film is a bit faster pace which I prefer. Great picture and sound to go with it. Winner of best director!!

Irregardless of your personal opinion of Spike Lee This is an amazing movie. The cast is amazing and well directed. I highly recommend not only this film but the book it is based on well.

I have got to read the book this movie was based on. I was sucked into the movie from beginning to end. Wish I could meet the author. We went to the same high school but 5 years apart.

John David Washington as Ron Stallworth who successfully infiltrated the KKK. With the skilled direction of Spike Lee, Washington and Adam Driver deliver a powerful performance.

Spike Lee has done a masterful job with this movie! The acting was great and the idea it was a true story makes it more great. 4k presentation is clear and the colors are amazing.

Based in Australia Dundy goes undercover to infiltrate and destroy the resistance. He later gets the girl but he's future father in-law has to stay behind and blowup an astroid.

If you are a fan of Spike Lee movies this might be his best work. True story of a man that infiltrates the KKK using a man of another race to do it. A must see movie!

This is one of my favorite movies of the year, great acting and very well directed by one of the greatest Spike Lee and I got on 4K for a very reduced price only at Best Buy.

4 & 1/2 stars. This is Spike Lee's best movie since Do the Right Thing. The Acting is great, the film is well made and the fact that it is a true story makes this a must see.

Spike lee did a great job directing this film. Adam driver and the lead actor John David Washington are an amazing comedic pair! Hope to see more movies with them together
