If you've read the comics, this game perfectly recreates a realistic, believable film noir world with a vast cast of anthropomorphic characters driving an unpredictable, layered mystery that will keep you guessing until the very end--and the game is long. Voice acting is great. Animations are decent, although yoir Blacksad character movement is stiff and one-dimensional in nature, but it overall plays similar to L.A. Noir to some extent.
You have to piece clues together and make pretty challenging deductions to progress, so you must investigate every nook and cranny in the environment, speak to witnesses, and sometimes take action based on how you would react if you were in a life-threatening situation. Every scenario can play out differently and your actions really do matter, for better or for worse! You can even die--a lot.
Give it a chance if you loved he movie Zootopia because this game is that, but with a more adult theme and tone.

If you’re a fan of narrative-driven games like the Telltale series of games, then this is going to be right up your alley. Except the level of polish is better than Telltale in my opinion, aside from some of the voice acting.
You play as a private detective in the 1950s New York and has some really interesting game mechanics, especially around the interviewing other characters. It’s slow-paced and is basically walking around, gathering clues and interrogating other characters. It’s all done very well, and it’s up to you to decide how you respond to certain circumstances. It’s a model that will be very familiar, and incredibly easy for newcomers to pickup.

Great game I love the concept of all characters being animals. Takes place in 1950's NY which is cool, excellent gameplay graphics and story. 5 stars.

Storyline is decent but could have been better a noir tale. The real issue is that the game has too many glitches.

The story was great, the setting was in New York which is my hometown so that’s a plus ☺️
But the frame rate, and textures were terrible.
