Blade 2 is filled with classic Del Torro touches and really succeeds as a fun and scary follow up to a movie that found moderate success before Marvel became a juggernaut with the Avenger franchise.

This is your typical sequel that is not as good as the first however I still like it. For any big time Marvel fan for sure.

Blade 1 is campy fun, but more or less forgettable. Blade 2 however is a winner due to the involvement of director/visionary Guillermo del Toro who took the world of Blade to a whole new level of inventiveness and class that never would have existed had he not been involved. The man is an icon and delivers an amazing commentary track on this blu-ray and that alone is worth the price of purchase for those interested in the filmmaking process. I pity the fool who doesn't pick up this under-appreciated gem of a film!

Blade 2 blew me away when I first saw it back in 2003. The special effects are almost perfect and the action/fight scenes are incredible! This movie was an action adventure that I didn’t want to end and it was definitely ahead of it’s time when it was released way back in 2002!! The best comic book movie I’ve ever seen!!

The blu-ray transfer of Blade II is fantastic. Picture looks stunning in 1080p, especially on my 50" plasma. The soundtrack is loud and thundering. Don't miss out!
