I’m not really good at fighting games but the gameplay is pretty much straight forward. The game is pretty short depending on how good you are at fighting games.

This is a great fighter game if you want to share it with other people and friends that are not big Fighting game players. Its got a solid and easy to learn combo system and some very fun and unique characters. Worth picking up as a starter game or for younger players to get their foot in the door of a fighter without having to be masters.

Blade Strangers is intended for those who like fighting games but don't like all the complex combos and such as a Marvel VS Capcom or a Street Fighter. It's still a good albeit basic game but it's the characters I love the most as they're stars from other great indie games. You have Quote and Brace from Cave Story, Issac from the Binding of Issac, Solange and Ali from Code of Princess, Gunvolt from Azure Striker Gunvolt and what indie game wouldn't be complete without Shovel Knight? If a fighter with any of those characters sounds good to you, pick this up. Anyone else can wait.

Story is meh... some of the characters are really cool... i felt like there could've been more. also having a hard time finding a match online

This game is actually quite a bit better than I thought. The game is well done with a surprisingly deep combat system with easy to do special moves, fair graphics, and a very fun battle system. The manual and included key chain are pretty good too. If you want to play a fighting game without convoluted directional inputs or wanting to learn a whole bunch of systems, this is a great starting point for a beginner.

Great simple fighting game of your into fighters not many people playing online in this version, switch version seems to have a more active community. Just check psn community or discord for matches.

the game has an awesome cast of characters basic fighting mechanic makes a little boring in my taste

Character sprites are very detailed, and pop from the background. The guest characters are fun and unexpected and you actually have to unlock them.

This is a good casual fighting game with some unique franchise characters such as shovel knight and Issac... Not a complex game for pros but fun and unique.

Great fighting game with great characters from isaac to shovel knight to Gunvolt, this game is hot.
