The BlazBlue series is already several games deep and has lore that will leave you scratching your head if this is your introduction to the series, so much so that they have modes that exist just to catch you up, along with a wealth of other story modes. That aside, it's a great fighting series, and this entry is no different. If this is your first BlazBlue, there is a "Stylish" mode that lets you execute special attacks and combos with simple button presses, making it more accessible. Tutorials also make it easy to learn, even including speaking characters to guide your progress. This loses a star for me because of the frequent double and triple-dips that the publisher makes by re-releasing Blaz-Blue games several times with slight changes, bundling in DLC, etc. Hopefully this is the final definitive version of Chrono Phantasma.

I love Blazblue, This is another game in the series. It hasn't changed much which is disappointing and good. I love the series but they need to start mixing it up. Also the graphic are very dated. Guilty Gear looked much better. Similar style fighter same publisher. This game is fast well balanced fun. Great story, plenty of modes offline and the awesome online multiplayer is back.

Just as the title says, this game didn't skip a beat. It's just like the ones before it except with more characters and modes to help newer people to the game. If the formula works, why change it and that's what makes the game even better!!

Pretty good fighting game and not as gory as mortal kombat. Great game to get into the series!

Got this on clearance for a great price. Graphics are 2d bliss. Holding me over until street fighter 5.

My oldest son really loved this game. To him it was along the lines of the Naruto games so he really got involved with the storyline and the characters. Fun game for him to play.

This game has cool graphics.I'm new to this game but I will purchase future releases.

With the Xbox One having very few strong fighters in it's library, Blazblue: CPE is one of the few bright stars that caters to the fighting community. Highly recommended.
