    Gave this as a gift to my parents. My brother helped them install it. It was an easy install and my dad is really enjoying watching it but he wishes there was a doorbell camera with this system, even though he has one of the Blink Cameras on the front porch. We should have gotten them 5 cameras. Maybe next year.

    Blink is one of the least expensive security systems you can get because it is self-monitored. We had 4 interior cameras and just added 3 outdoor. We are very happy. Also, talk to your home insurance company. They don't normally give a discount for self-monitored but we were able to talk State Farm into a small discount. The more of us that ask the more likely they are to allow the Blink system for home owners insurance deductions.

    Not terrible but they aren’t amazing either. Pic quality is just ok for night time. In many cases for us it seemed to miss a lot of the action as there is a lag before it will record again, even at the lowest setting. It would be great if there was a full time recording option. Overall for the price it’s a good light use camera. wait for a sale for an even better price.
