I have the Sync 2 module so I record to a usb drive and stay away from the one of forever ending clouds. The picture quality is good for what the package costs. There are better, more expensive kits.

We got our first set this past spring and haven’t had any trouble with “ battery life” of course we only set them to record when no one is home and every night when we are sleeping. I would highly recommend for the money.
