These outdoor cameras are nothing like those, old clips keep popping up that were deleted, odd camera pictures go from dark to light, motion detection very slow, wish I had my xt2's back.

Learning curve

There is a learning curve for sure. Be prepared for lots of notificatons of...nothing. The wind, and certainly rain seem to make this go off. Bugs, birds etc. There is a lag in how quickly it starts recording, and sometimes I want it to record longer. We were able to see a young man get out of his truck and start toward the house....then it ended. Found a card he left in the door after we got home, but I thought it would stop recording when the movement ended and that didn't happen. Nice to have a little backup at this location as it is a second home, and we aren't there daily. The app on your phone is pretty user friendly, and I can disable due to rain etc...from anywhere and start a live video to check conditions and start it again.

My internet is slow so I see the movement after the fact, and being that you have to purchase a plan after so many days, I don't have the ability to go back and watch.
