This hardware works as you'd expect, but unfortunately the accompanying app is not very intuitive and immediately offers an unnecessary premium plan. It's cool to be able to make cloud recordings, but in my opinion this is a pretty niche use case that I opted out of. Personally, my wife and I were looking for a simple monitoring device and luckily we purchased this as a back-up camera. Our primary baby monitor is cheaper and local so you don't have to worry about cyber security and hackers getting into your camera. While its convenient to check your phone, the software required to use this camera is not designed well... Overall, I wouldn't recommend.

This camera was very easy to setup once i realized it needed to be on 2.4G wifi... Theres no SD slot which upset me. But all in all i am happy with it.

It’s a good camera for the price, but you have to buy a plan just to review footage or “events” can’t store footage locally have to use blinks cloud storage

These are great little cameras, I bought several to cover my entire perimeter. I found that by using Wi-Fi boosters I can daisy chain them to my tree stand and watch the wildlife.

At first I want sure about it but I am now the ri am my only complaint is I should have gotten it sooner the picture quality is great and the alerts are excellent

The camera is loud when it’s armed and when you disarm it as well when you click to view live, the click on it is insane someone will find your hidden camera quick. Other than that good quality video day or night and sound when someone is talking.

We appreciate you bringing the clicking noise to our attention. While a slight sound is normal when the camera activates, it shouldn't be loud enough to be disruptive. To address this:
You can try disabling the status LED in the camera settings, which may reduce the noise.
For discretion, you might consider:
Placing the camera near other electronic devices to mask the sound Using the camera in "always on" mode to reduce activation noises

Returned. Could not get it connected. But...probably my fault. Noy a techy and I hate that EVERYTHIBG is so deoendent on our phones and the internet.

Doesn’t connect to wifi

Can’t get through the set up process. My wifi is compatible with this product, however my wifi is not discoverable through this device. I’ve called customer support which said it was a wifi problem. Then I called my wifi provider and they said that it should be no problem. Overall it was cheap so I can’t be to mad about it not working.

Great difficulty setting up. Spent a lot of time on phone with tech support for Blink...on 2 different phone calls....AND even tech support for my brand new eero mesh system......eero tech support even tried to help me install the Blink cameras. Bottom line...never could get operational so took them back and purchased Ring security cameras. They installed easily and were operational in less than the time of one phone call to Blink support!
