The Battery Extension Pack is designed to extend the battery life of your Blink Outdoor 4 camera to up to four years by adding two additional AA lithium batteries alongside the camera's standard two batteries. To install the Battery Extension Pack, remove the back cover of your Blink Outdoor 4 camera, insert the two included AA lithium batteries into the extension pack compartment following the polarity markings, ensure all four batteries (the original two plus the two in the extension pack) are properly seated, and replace the back cover securely until it clicks into place. The camera should automatically recognize the additional batteries and display the extended battery status in the Blink app. If the extension pack wasn't recognized or the camera didn't function properly after installation, ensure all four batteries are fresh AA lithium batteries (not alkaline), verify the batteries are inserted with correct polarity, check that the back cover is fully closed and sealed to maintain weather resistance, and restart the camera by removing and reinserting all batteries.
