||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.They are OK I’ve had wise came for a long time and I can actually use a pan cam outside which makes it so it rotates and I can see 360° but I use it for 180° because I have it mounted outside my house This camera here you only get straight shots and I did plug in a card but it still doesn’t seem to want to record maybe it’s user error but I never had this type of problem with wise camp so that being said the only good reason to have these is because they are battery operated and when the power goes out they will still be working with my phone so that’s always nice but then again no they won’t because my Internet won’t be working cause it’s plugged into the power oh well

Posted .Hello KarriH! Thank you for your feedback on the Blink Outdoor 4 XR Wireless security camera system. I understand your frustration with the fixed viewing angle and recording functionality. The Blink Outdoor 4 XR cameras capture a single field of view without rotation capability, and recordings store either to the cloud with a Blink Subscription Plan or locally to a USB drive connected to the Sync Module XR, not directly to an SD card in the camera. To enable local storage, insert a USB flash drive into your Sync Module XR's USB port and enable local storage in the Blink app settings under Sync Module settings, ensuring the drive is formatted as FAT32. While battery operation provides backup during power outages, your internet connectivity would still require power for the router and modem to function. Thank you for sharing your experience.

Also at night keep them out of lights way cause it will look like a ball of light in your camera. other than that they are awesome and very sensitive to movement. i love mine
