The motion detection is great and picture quality awesome. Audio and night video takes my breath away

I purchased this camera to setup at my home so when we were on vacation we could see what was happening at our house. It was easy to set up. When the camera detects motion it captures it on video with sound. It then sends an alert to your phone, and you can then view it. You may also select to see a live view if you want. It works without any contract to security service and it is very reasonably priced.

I have already reviewed the 3 camera system (that will explain why the 4 stars vs 5 stars). I wanted to add another camera, but they were out of the camera-only , so for only $10 more, I purchased this cam and module. I was able to add the camera to the other 3 under the same module, so this module is a spare, unused currently.

My daughter bought these after a recommendation from a friend for an affordable security system. It is amazing so we bought them, too! Easy to install with no wires, we love the flexibility of being able to remotely turn each camera on or off and to view what is happening at each camera location with the app on our phones. It also sends you a notice when motion is detected. It certainly has given us piece of mind.

For the price it is great. Has great video quality, works at night, has zones to turn off motion sensing, no recurring service an fees. Can take a little time to get the sensitivity just right. The only down side is the communication design could be a little better. The Blink Sync Module needs to be in distance to your wireless home network...ok fine. However, the camera needs to be in distance to both the Blink Sync Module AND your wireless home network. If they would redesign the Blink Sync Module to be a router for the Blink camera you could get twice the distance out of the camera placement. Example, I have camera outside but just outside home WiFi range (signal too week for good camera performance) and my sync module is inside at window closest to camera. I thought I would be fine because camera has great signal to sync module and sync module has great signal to home WiFi. Well not so due to camera needing home WiFi signal too. So I had to buy a home WiFi extender that plugs into outlet...but the wifi extender I bought causes havoc on my home network (see my other review).

This product is great for peace of mind at s cheap price, easy to set up, and easily installed. I think this product would be better if the cameras connected to each other like the Phillips hue light bulbs do to extend range. You can only go so far away from the hub. Overall I am very happy with the purchase. Good quality picture.

The Blink XT Cameras do what they are supposed to do. Easy setup, HD Video, Free cloud, and user friendly app. I picked these over Arlo because of the price difference although Arlo does have some features Blink does not. As with Arlo, Blink XT is a battery powered wireless camera that records when the camera detects motion. Setting the range and intensity of the motion sensor was simple and worked as expected. There have been some complaints about this but with some tweaking I was able get the kicks out of my setup. My problem with the cameras, more specifically the “system” is the delay between the time motion sensors activate recording and when I received the notification and was able to view the video. The time delays resulted in missing the activity captured on video or not capturing the subject due to not in view of the camera long enough. This problem also holds true with the Ring products. I have extremely fast internet and strong Wi-Fi so neither of these are the problem. I think these are good but for faster and more accurate surveillance cameras you still have to rely on wired cameras.

Really loving the 3 camera Blink XT set. I was fortunate to get it for a sale price around the holidays. The app could be a little better streamlined, but after looking up a couple things on their website I was able to configure all the settings the way I wanted it. I love being able to see when packages get delivered and having eyes on all the doors of our house when we're away. I highly recommend it.

The camera is decent, and Is very easy to set up you get notified fairly quickly on the device you have it set on. I recently had the Arlo pro 2 but had to return it because it would not work right on iOS, what the Arlo had that I miss on the blink xt is the 3 second look back,other than that very satisfied with the blink

This camera system works great! It is very easy to setup with very few steps involved. I would advise placing the base station close to the router you are emitting WiFi from. My favorite thing about this device is being able to get HD footage recorded and stored for free via the cloud. The footage is accessible by smart phone anywhere, anytime, overall a killer package for what you pay.

These cameras work well detect motion good video feed long lasting batteries easy to install so far I like them quite a bit long-term review we'll have to be down the road after I've used these for a while that's so far I'm very pleased especially for the price I purchase them at Best buy

Always wanted extra security for the peace of mind. and this comes in handy and for the affordable price and also got Echo dot for free along with this during the offer. Impressed with battery life. Don't use regular batteries always use lithium batteries. I bought the camera system which was $7 extra and I have 2 different base stations just in case,

This is my first wireless camera. I purchased separate gutter mounts for easy mounting. I would recommend those because the mounting only took a few minutes. However, the Blink camera snaps into any mount. Being plastic, I am not sure how the first battery change will be. The app was easy to set up. It works with Google Assistant using IFTTT app. The picture quality was what I expected from watching youtube videos. The app allows each camera to adjust recording length, sensitivity and zones. I did have to figure out where to place the base so that all cameras had good connection to both the base and the wifi signal. Initial placement of the cameras were out of range from the base. I was getting warnings that the battery was being drained trying to maintain connections. My reason for purchasing this was price and reviews. I wanted something that was basic and easy to operate. This did not disappoint us.

This item was easy to install and works very well. It takes just a few minutes to set up each camera and they provide good video and sound, once in place. Great Value and Best Buy's price was exceptional.

Camera works great. The motion sensing works good , although sometimes the sensor does not pick up any slight movement. The advantage over nest camera is the cloud storage is free. You get what you paid for. Although, the quality is not as good as nest camera.

I have used a lot of Security Cameras in the past but I really did enjoy these cameras most of all. As long as you’re not doing long range and you’re fairly close to the wireless box your golden. For in the home or outside the home these are great little cameras and the battery last for years!
