After 6 months of use, I made a very poor choice for my first "smart phone". Low price and you get poor performance. Blu has deplorable Customer Support. Website useless. Very poor battery life (one day). Touch screen does not respond as it should. Even during conversation if your cheek hits touch screen phone hangs up. Phone locks up and shuts off during some simple apps without warning having to remove battery to restart. Go into Airplane mode and try to go into normal. Locks up. Too many nice features but no clear instructions on how to use them. You're own you own learning it. Online manual is poorly organized and written.

Affordable and Adequate

No, it's not the latest and greatest IPhone, and not it's not the new Galaxy S6, but for $129 to replace a Samsung Galaxy S3 or S4, it's a decent replacement. I've had zero issues with this phone in the short time I've had it. I'm not due for an upgrade through my carrier for 6 months, and had no insurance on my old phone, so for what is close to an insurance deductible payment through any carrier for a replacement, this works!

Good to get for your son or daughter, but not the phone you want to have if you're grown up... I have to turn off and reboot often. Touch screen doesn't accept touch input VERY often. Usually have to exit out of that screen and then come back into trying to do whatever it was that I did. Battery life not the best.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

If negative stars were possible, this company would get minus 5. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I am generally a very positive person, but there are no words to describe the hellish treatment my wife and I received from their “customer service” reps.
After a great deal of research, my wife ordered a BLU cell phone from Best Buy, which advertised both GMS and CDMA capabilities. We needed GMS for Mexico, where we were heading to in a few days, and CDMA for the only serviceable provider in our home (rural) area. The model we received was the same as the one online, but only had GMS, making it worthless in our home area. It also had 8GB of memory and 1 GB of RAM, instead of the advertised 16 GB and 2 GB.
My wife called the BLU support line and was calm, considerate, and polite to a fault, never raised her voice, and never got angry. Yet, after some minutes discussing the problem, the BLU rep hung up on her. Upon calling back, she was on hold for 2 hours and 45 minutes, with the continual message being played of how important her call was to BLU. No one ever answered.
I wrote a letter to the BLU CEO and 8 days later received a call from a rep. She claimed the specifications error was Best Buy’s fault, even though online retailers normally have the supplier (BLU in this case) fill out electronic spec forms for the particular product page. She never apologized, nor displayed empathy, until I asked her if she thought maybe she should. When I asked her about the rude treatment by the BLU rep, she said she would check on it and get back to me. She never did.
Hoping for some closure (at the very least, an apology for the rep’s behavior), I sent another letter from the BLU customer support web page. I never received an answer.
Additionally, the manual is sparse and horrid. I couldn’t answer the first 4 or 5 calls I had, because there were no instructions on how to do it. I touched every symbol on the screen plus swiped, but the phone kept ringing. Finally online I found someone explaining you have to press and swipe. Duh… The manual tells, that to do something, you go to a certain page and touch the such-and-such icon. But they never show you how to get to that page or display a picture of the particular icon they refer to. Egad. And there is no way I could find to put the phone on speaker when you do have a call.
In short, this company is far and away the worst I have ever dealt with. Save yourself the grief and go elsewhere.

I bought 2 cell phones. The 1st one was bought 2 months ago and that works perfect till date. Then I bought the 2nd one 2 weeks back which was delivered defective. Battery didn't even last for 2 hours in stand by mode. So I returned it back to Best Buy store. It's a dual sim phone and comes with Screen protector and shell cover in the box. This model L010Q covers US and International 3G frequencies. 4G is covered in USA for all GSM carriers but I am not sure about international 4G capabilities. I visited 2 Best Buy stores and none of the store reps in the mobile section were able to provide the frequencies covered by this phone. I did all research myself and bought this model. I don't expect the bestbuy people to have some knowledge on the carrier frequencies available in my country but expecting them to be aware the frequencies covered by an instrument sold in their stores. Overall it's a good phone for anyone looking for budget smart phone with international coverage however you will get a non-defective phone if you are lucky :)

I had this phone for less than a week. Unfortunately, I'll never get that time back.
Terrible phone, for so many reasons:
- Dropped service constantly.
- No service in areas where other phones with the same carrier have no problem with service.
- Froze up at least a couple times a day, requiring battery removal to reboot.
- Couldn't send attachments in text messages, no matter how I varied the settings.
- Pull setting in e-mail didn't work, had to pull manually.
- I could go on, but I think that's enough.
Don't do it. $129.00 looks appealing, but all it buys you is the road to pain and woe. There are lots of good phone options for under $200, go with one of those instead.
I would only recommend this phone to someone I hated or to a relative that I never wanted to hear from again.

Bought this phone 3 months ago. I have had nothing but issues. The phone is constantly glitching/crashing and customer support is non-responsive. Steer clear of BLU products
