The BLU Vivo 5 I love it it's a very user friendly phone, it has a brite screen with great colors. And easy to set up. And the cost was affordable. Best buy needs this phone in the store so people don't have to order it. I'm gonna get one for my wife.

After spending crazy money on almost any flag ship phone and many time disappointed either performance, build quality, battery life, horrible customer service (Sony) I decide to try this 200$ phone. After 2 weeks with phone I have to admit I am really fool :-) spending all those crazy money for phones and now I have proof in front of me that nice phone can be built for 200$ and give you same experience as 700$. Battery life is amazing for what I am using phone, after 16 hours on the road and I am using phone not for gaming or watching Netflix I get back home battery is between 35-40%. People talking about screen but is bright and white not yellow as my Samsung Note 4 (see pic.) Performance guys just play with phone........... Probably will feel fool for some time because falling for those big advertisement form Samsung Sony LG HTC... and over paying for phones that on the end are just mediocre products........... Its look like is easier to spend some money on great advertisement than improve product........... No more 700$ phones for me............ Thank you BLU..............

I'm highly impressed with my BLU Vivo 5. I purchased originally because it is dual SIM and Unlocked for an upcoming trip to Europe. I'm currently using Samsung Note 3. Naturally I decided to test out the Vivo 5 and I pop out my AT&T SIM card from the Note 3 into the Vivo 5 and I also input a 32GB Micro SD card (note: if you use an SD card, you CANNOT use the the second nano SIM card). To cut a long story short, the Vivo 5 is now my primary phone. I have better reception at my house now (not sure how that happen). Before, I was using MicroCell to get better reception on my Note 3, I do not need it anymore. The battery life is slightly better than the Note 3 and it is quite slim, lighter and more beautiful (IMHO). The only drawback is that it does not have removable battery, otherwise, an excellent phone. Works great!

It has been 3 weeks using this phone and it has been amazing value for my $200. No problems so far and Camera is Amazing with no lags in phone. People confuse this with iphone as it better looking than it and lighter than iphone compared to its screen size.

I love the phone. It replaced my Samsung Galaxy S3, I know it is a huge leap from my S3, it us just a great phone all around. My friends who have the iPhone 6, thing that the phone is better than theirs. With the 3 GB of ram it is super fast, with the 32 GB of memory it is fantastic, I do have my 64 GB micro SD card, so plenty of memory space. Android Lollipop is very easy to use and very intuitive. I have only had one app that doesn't want to work with the phone but that is the only problem I have. While the phone is large, it feels super light. I have not found any problems that make me regret buying the phone, I would buy it all over again. I know people how still owe well over $400 on there phone a year later, and mine is already paid off!

This phone is amazing. It's big and comfortable. Comes with a lot of accessories and an octo-core processor. Scored over 2800 in Geekbench 3 and 38000 in Antutu.

I have to say that this is a great smartphone overall, 2 weeks using constantly the device to work and personal life (dual sim). The design is gorgeus, looks like a big iphone 5, the size of the Note 3 and slim almost like iPhone 6. It comes with a soft transparent case and screen protector (plastic film). The battery duration is more than enough for a full day, even if I shared as hotspot, played some youtube videos during day, sending emails at least 1-2 per hour. I come from an Xperia Z3+ dual sim, I was frustrated because of the overheating problems on the snapdragon 810 proccessor, so I switch to a phone that cost me just 1/3 of my super hot smartphone.... Im so happy now, no overheating, everything smooth as I want. I only miss the camera quality, isnt bad in the vivo 5, but 21MP and 60fps is an important difference vs 13MP and 30 fps. Also the graphics is a noticeable downgrade for me, but I dont care because I dont use my phone to play a lot, I only like to do multimedia as much to be fun on my free time. Talking a little more about the graphics, I ran the antutu benchmark in my Xperia Z3+ (snapdragon 810 x64) vs the Blu Vivo 5 (Mediatek MT6753), and the conclusion: the Vivo 5 barely beats the Z3+ related to multitasking and apps management (very important to me), but about the GPU performance, the Z3+ scored 3 more times the Vivo 5, so isn't a great phone to play games that demands hardcore graphics. Maybe the snapdragon 615 (1st processor competitor actually) has better GPU performance than the MT6752 in the Vivo 5, but Im pretty sure that isnt better about apps proccesses&multitasking demans. Antutu benchmark scores 38200-38500 usually. Points to keep in mind before buy: - The slots for the sims: Is dual sim, yes; but you can't place a MicroSD and 2 sims at the same time, you should decide If you carry 1 sim + MicroSD or 2 sims. Also, the size for the sims is 1 nanosim & 1 microsim. For me 32 gbs is more than enough at the moment. I prefer to use with 2 sims. - The app interface doesn't have app dock. It means, if you are thinking that you will hit a button in which you will open all your available apps, you are wrong; all the apps are over your 1st screen (multiple screens if you need more space for your apps). So, make folders and categorize as needed will be the best strategy in this case on my POV. I don't like to download apps as ADW that gives me an "app dock", it demands resources and I felt my usage experience slow and clumpsy. Issues with phone at the moment (not considered as failure, just issues): - 2 days ago I noticed that my Wifi download/upload speed was 1-50Kb/s as maximum (you can activate a function on the top to view the exact download speed all time, nice feature), so that's is extremely low when I'm usually downloading at least 1-1.5Mb/s. I tried deleting many apps, including the smart app to close all the processes & save battery. After test and error, the solution: Bluetooth was on (to stay always synced with my Basis Peak smartwatch). After place the bluetooth to off, I started to download at high speeds as expected. Weird effect about bluetooth on Wifi, maybe interference of the signals or a bug that creates a misfunction on the Wifi. Well, Im very satisfied and happy with the purchase, it worths the $200 by far. Regards =)

I was drawn to this phone because of many of the trivial issues some of the cheaper phones have, such as; "Insufficient Storage", frequently crashing during heavier apps, slow process, etc. Furthermore with this phone having owned it a little under a year is still a shining star! My warranty was about to expire so I absolutely opted to extend it until 2019. This is a very well created phone able to adapt in many ways to the needs of the user. I would highly recommend this phone to anyone considering this as a contender, kudos to BLU for there hard-working team.

Love this phone.Bought two of these.Look feel and performance all good. Will definitely recommend for someone who doesnt want to spend too much and want a good phone. The screen is awesome and there is no lag in performance.Only issue I have had is that with the Skype where the other person dont hear my voice at all or very slow.Dont know if its some bug with Skype and Android version. Other than that it does all what it is supposed to do.

Coming from an iPhone 6...this is a mediocre device. No fingerprint scanner and low resolution screen made it a deal breaker as I got really accustomed to those in the iPhone. But it's a decent phone...fast and snappy.

This isn't my first Blu phone purchased ..I also have bought the Life One X Both have been great for me.. and I'm still waiting for the Marshmallow update on oth of them. The Blu FB page just recently mentioned with the release of the Vivo 5 XR that the 6.0 update is very very close. I use this phone as a dual SIM card on ATT network and it's been fine ..except that ATT will finally stop using the 2G network at of Jan 2017 and so any phone that uses it will become silent. It's been fast enough with the Ram and processor it comes with to do anything I've asked it to do yet. This also is either a dual sim or one sim and one micro SD card slot phone.. it's either or..lol Otherwise I have had no battery issues or hardware issues.. I just it with the case it came with and it's been fine. Again.. for a phone under $200 it's been a great value for being used on my work number .

I will go as far as to say it is the best phone I've bought to date. I have owned most high end phones and this is by far the best performance, no lags and the best part is its under $200. you won't find a better phone for the price!

Excellent phone, however, there was a small glitch on the software. The phone was unable to complete the device encryption. I had to raise this with BLU support, hopefully they would release a patch. If you don't use this feature, it's non-issue.

This is the best phone I've ever owned. I've had a couple Blu phones and have been very pleased with them. I like them better than some $600 Samsung phones I've owned. And they're a US company based in Miami. So I like supporting a local company making a great product.
