Got this phone yesterday- today I let it do the latest update that it had downloaded overnight...after it came back and I tried calling with it - no one could hear a thing I said. I tried calling my work phone (wearing a headset with the mic muted so I wouldn't get feedback) and I couldn't hear anything...This was after calling BLU support and first wiping the cache, then wiping and doing a factory reset on the entire phone.

Phone was slow camera was not good. Overall phone was horrible

Okay...it's big....5.5" Camera...super nice and has manual modes...awesome Wifi...fast.....fingerprint reader on the back...genius It comes with a screen protector applied from factor...no bubbles...and a free case...I mean really out of the box they want it to not get scratched up. FM Radio built in...my wife can listen to her country and not use her data. The phone just feels nice...and android 6.0 Don't buy a knock off.....just get this and never look back.

I bought this about a year ago, for the same price (that has to mean something). I was on a budget, so I had to find the best phone for the money. By budget, I mean not spending over $200 for a phone. I did a ton of research, and this phone is really the best bang for the buck. The ram and rom is REALLY good, and octa-core? Where can you get that for that price? Camera is pretty decent too. It's not taking pictures like a professional camera would, but it's pretty darn close. Everything on the phone runs smoothly, and I can install soo many apps with the memory it has. Haven't had any software glitches or anything yet. I love the fingerprint sensor on it. Overall it's a great product, priced at where it should be, unlike other phones. Here are the only downsides that I ran into: Speaker is located on the back, headphone jack could be placed in another spot, whenever opening the menu tab to see all apps opened, it takes awhile for the "X" to appear to close a certain app. Not long, just a couple seconds. But I mean really, these issues are nothing compared to how great the phone is, and I've had this for about a year! I don't feel the need to upgrade it yet.

(Grey model purchased on 07/13/2017) This was a birthday present for my girlfriend. The phone was of excellent build, design, functionality and hardware. But after a Blu service pack was installed, the aftermath was horrendous: navbar buttons didn't work, download functionality inoperative, notification panel would not load. Calling CS at blu was a c+ experience: polite, but incomplete in its guidance, ending in a referral to the BB distributor for Claim Service on an "unrepairable" phone, though they're OUT-OF-STOCK of Vivo 5r phones! STILL waiting on their initial paperwork e-mail to start the Return Claim for "equivalent replacement options" -- ugh! So much for Blu and their beautiful Vivo 5r and untested Service Packs. Very, very unhappy.

I bought this phone in December. Like other reviewers, I find it to be quiet and wish BLU would improve the speakers. The fingerprint scanner is FABULOUS!! It's so convenient to easily get into the phone one-handed. Note, the phone comes with a screen protector ALREADY on it, so you don't need to put on the extra screen protector that comes in the package. Unfortunately, I tend to drop my phone a lot. It's usually pretty forgiving until there's a hit right at the edge of the screen (happened when the phone was 5 months old). I ordered a replacement online. But when the phone arrived from Best buy, they clearly sent me a phone that had been opened before Someone did a really poor job of putting on the extra screen protector, got LOTS of bubbles, and returned it. Then, BestBuy sent me the phone as brand new. Will be returning to get a replacement.

This is now my second vivo 5r the first one I bought after installing everything I realised that the back speaker was very low. So I made the return had to purchase the vivo 5r that I'm on now and same problem when I got home I tested the speaker and the same problem. So I'll be returning this phone to best buy as well. Other than that the phone is great the picture is nice. It runs very smooth and the fingerprint scanner is great

When it works its great but this doesn't happen often. I have to restart the phone regularly to restore all functions. Most phone calls go directly to voice mail, SD card not always reads, keyboard on messages doesn't eject all the time, tap on screen doesn't work unless you tap pretty hard and many more. I wish I had returned it by the 14th day.

Bought This Phone on the reviews and i am not impressed at all! The Battery Failed after 6 months and i i sent them my phone back and its been a full week since and i have not received another one yet! The Phone locks up and freezes. I will Never buy another BLU product again! There warranty company does not do what they say and there products are poorly made! When i asked for a different make and model they refused and they do not extend there warranties. So long story short when the phone fails you are stuck buying another $200+ phone!

I should have read the review really low ring volume and I miss calls and messages. I may return it within the first week.

Do not buy this phone, trust me I made the same mistake twice.
