The dual SIM capability and expandable storage are also well-received features. While some users have expressed concerns about the slow charging speed, the overall positive feedback suggests that the Vivo XL 4G LTE offers good value for the price.

I bought this phone after seeing online reviews, mostly out of curiosity to see how a $150 phone can perform. After a few days of use, it's way above my expectation. Most of the time, it ourperforms my Nexus 5. It is amazing how well it performs, despite of its extremely low price. Pros: Screen is beautiful, don't let 720p discourage you. Most people probably don't need 1080p display. 3000 mAh battery provides long running time. It usually has more than 40% charge left after full day of use. Replaceable battery. Dual SIM slot. MicroSD card slot allows expanding internal storage. octa-core processor give is good performance for most daily uses. Application responses are smooth most of the time. Cons: No NFC, cannot use Android Pay Button placement is odd. For example, power button is below volume. it'll take a little bit of time to get used to SIM slot is only accessible by removing back cover. Access to SIM slot 1 requires removal of battery. BLU's customization of Android is a little confusing. For example, Smart Lock is not in the settings. But once you pair a bluetooth device to the phone, it'll show up.

Grabbed this for my sister during the presale, at $100. You can't really beat that price for what you're getting. I've had mixed experiences with BLU devices, but this one is a winner. It's fast, has a decent screen, and good battery life. There have been some issues with volume control, but hopefully a future software update will fix that.

Call Quality/Speaker: pretty good for a budge phone Multitasking: very smooth, no log Display: vivid color Battery: up to 2 days under light use Build Quality: fairly good The only complaint I have is the camera. There are some white noises, especially under low light. Overall, this is a very good budget phone with dual-sim and 5.5" display.

Really good phone, great battery, low price, expandable memory, very thin phone, only 720p screen but still looks great, loud speaker, pretty fast weird OS layout but with Android you can always change it to what you want. Included with this phone a screen protector, phone case & earbuds my overall experience has been great with this phone

I was spectacle upon purchasing this phone. I did a lot of research, and decided to go with this phone. This phone feels great in your hand, and weights in not too heavy and not too light. The screen is super clear, and I am happy it isn't 1080P (Battery life is super long). Overall great value for your money, even at $150 I would've purchased. Like always, you get a handful accessories with Blu Products. Good sound quality, fast charging, and good operating system. WOULD 100% RECOMMEND THIS PHONE TO ANYONE! I have already received many comments on how nice and smooth my phone is.

I got this BLU Vivo XL after hearing about the BLU phones for a year now. I was expecting it to be the "element" version of phone brands... good but not great. I'm fortunately very wrong. The BLU Vivo XL is very snappy with its Octa-core processor. It has a very big and vibrant 5.5" screen. The battery life is downright insane (3200mAh). I can get this to last 3-4 days even using it as an mp3 player daily. The only knocks on it are aesthetic. The notifications are a bit wonky with the top sliding down the notifications and the bottom having the bluetooth, brightness, wifi, etc, settings on bottom. The launcher is also horrible, you can't organize your screens. However, the latter is an easy fix (just install a new launcher like Nova). All in all... I got this for $99 when it barely came out but even at $149 its well worth the money.

I ordered this phone a few weeks ago for a couple of reasons. We are moving to Africa in the next couple of months and I needed a new phone as my old phone was way past it's usefulness date but I didn't want to sign up for a new 2 year contract. Also, because of the pending Africa move, I really needed a dual sim phone. I am not a power user but I do use my phone for everything ie, text, calendar, email, and other productivity apps. I have had zero issues call quality, freezing, lagging or anything else for that matter. I anticipated some issues for the price point but have been pleasantly surprised. Also, battery life for me is much better than expected. I get 2 full days of normal use (for me) and when I charge it on the 2nd night, I still have 30% battery power. My old phone barely gave me a full day. Very pleased with this purchase.

Disclaimer: I got the phone for $99 during the sale and used a $20 credit. Overall: For the $80 that I paid for the phone, it's GREAT value for the price. For the regular $150 price, it's probably just a GOOD phone. Pros: - Has USB-C for faster charging - Bright display. It's 720p resolution, but it's still very sharp. It's often so bright, that I have to turn down the display at night. Cons: - Lollipop, and not Marshmallow (as of 3/2016). - Skinned UI which has some standard features replaced.

BLU has been coming out with better and better phones lately. The XL is a prime example. For a large phone it is incredibly light, but feels good in the hand. The Amoled screen, while not the most color accurate is very bright and saturated, images really really pops. Battery life is also impressive. Build quality is good- not great- remember this is a budget phone. Weakest part is the camera. it's ok, but not even close to your high end iPhone or Samsung- but again we are talking about a $150 phone. Keep in mind that it uses the newer usb c port for charing- surprising bit of forwards thinking there- but also means you can;t use any micros cables you have laying around for back-up charging. Finally one extra bit of niceness, it comes with a case.

I don't know how Blu does it, but they put out great phones for reasonable prices. This is no exception. The vivo Xl isn't going to go head to head with a Samsung, LG or any other higher price flagship from other big name companies. But at this price point it's hard to get mad about your phone lacking in any area. This is a sold phone and would highly recommend to people that are looking for a phone thats under $200 and can do what they need it to do. I consider myself a moderate user, (uses my phone on social media, texting, few calls, YouTube videos, and light gaming). Gets me through the day no problem. Great phone for the price for sure.

Slim, unibody design, nice glossy plastic finish at back. 2 raised dots beside the speaker grill to prevent the sound from getting muffled when placed on a flat surface. Even though 720p since its Super AMOLED colors are vivid, text is crisp and the screen is bright enough for use outdoors in sunlight. The sound is good and loud not as good as HTC boom sound but it is very much usable for phone calls on speaker and listening to music. Also the sound quality through headphones is really good. The volume is a bit low. It’s bit low compared to a Samsung S5 but still usable. The MediaTek Octa core is so much better with the battery. This phone will last you almost 2 days with 5-6 hrs of screen usage time. And this estimate is conservative I am on my first charge and been using the phone pretty aggressively to test it and even after that after 2 days I have 28% battery left. The BLU Vivo XL can’t take low light photos without them turning out too dark or blurry. Lacks details and sharpness even in good lighting. Auto focus is good, does a good face tracking but the image quality is not good either from the back camera or the front 5 mpx camera. No problems with 5.1, runs smooth but the supplied launcher and keyboard was horrible, prefer the google keyboard. People criticize Blu phones never getting updates, for me update take so long to come out, some time I try some Custome roms like (Cyanogenmod, MIUI etc...). I was able to run multiple applications without feeling any lags, jitters or force closes. I don’t play any games but with multiple tabs of Opera open, amazon, google maps, Instagram, gmail, facebook, whatsapp all open the phone performed smooth. In fact I was very impressed with the performance, actually feel this phone to be faster.

Up-grade from LG F6, I used this phone on T-mo network. This phone is huge at 5.5", more memory, much faster processor with octa-core. The gold color is so fancy. The USB-C charger is super fast. Battery capacity seems to be good for me. Come with screen protector and clear plastic cover. The price is unbeatable. One word: SUPER.

This is a great vanilla Android phone for the price. Its hardware is firmly middle-tier (1GB of RAM is probably its weakest point) but the great screen and the option for expandable storage makes it an excellent option for someone looking to BYOD to a prepaid or postpaid plan.

Great price for an unlocked dual sim phone. Has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Android OS without all the bloat wear, and decent battery life. Voice quality is not the greatest on the receiving end (which is why I docked 1 star) but not the worst.

I bought this at the intro price of $99. Pros: Affordable Large Screen Fast Large RAM and good internal storage Pretty great display Cons: Battery life is great the first two weeks then there's a noticeable decline. Camera is not super awesome (but acceptable for the price). The back gets finger print marks really fast. After about 2.5 weeks, there was a lag in the phone, it would freeze up randomly, and sometimes reboot itself.

Purchased this phone for my wife because her LG9 was running out of memory every time it tried to update the installed software. Using on tmobile and seems to work well. User interface is good and transferring over pics, contacts, sms was str8 forward. Only issue so far is getting the phone to indicate when there's a voicemail. Haven't yet figured it out. Have to maually refresh Tmobile's visual voicemail program to tell if there are any new voice mails. Display is adequate (and large). Camera takes acceptable pictures. Battery life decent, she gets 2-3 days on a charge with low to moderate use. So far she is happy with the phone. Probably best for users with modest requirements in a phone.

I bought two of these phones on sale for 100.00 (the first weekend they were introduced). They quickly sold out and I love this phone. I've had many compliments on the phone and told others that I got this phone for 100.00 (to which people were shocked). I would buy this phone for double the price again.
