    I bought this microphone after reading a lot of reviews. While there were many who talked about how the mic was not reliable, I ignored those reviews thinking that they were a vocal minority. When I bought the microphone (for about $80), it was great: Good sound quality, high build quality, and all the features I would want in an affordable package. However, it only took a couple of weeks for me to start hearing beeping and whining sounds out of the headphone output, as well as having issues using it with Discord, a voice chat app. I would recommend considering other options.

    personally i ended up returning this mic after ui heard how it sounded on someones else's headset. massive background noise. the mic picked up everything someone was saying across the house. not sure if i didnt have it set to the right settting. i was also unable to download the software to configure the mic. like i said i returned it and went with the hyperX quadcast. and i love it! totally recommend although i love how nice and clean this mic looks

    Build quality is nice, but it sounds about the same as my logitech webcam. The only nice feature was the equalizer and volume knob. Better off looking for another mic if you’re after audio quality.

    Mic gain issues and software issues

    This mic could be good, but it is horrible for me. Maybe I just got a dud, but the mic software does not even detect it and when I talk with friends the mic gain randomly changes from like 60 to 89 without me touching it and it makes the quality so much worse. The software thing is not even really the issue, it is more so the fact that the mic gain is never stable.

    I can't understand how this can get so many good reviews. After one year, the usb connection is unstable, making it disconnect at random, very annoying. So many Betty options with usb c, run away from Blue

    I bought this mic for my Son for his birthday. He uses it to stream using the usb port on his xbox. Everything worked fine for a few months but all of a sudden it wouldn't turn on. We checked the drivers to ensure it was on the latest version but still no response. I connected it to our pc to be sure and still it did not recognize it. Luckly I was a total care member at bestbuy and was able to return it with no questions asked. If you are going to purchase please ensure you have a warenty just in case.

    Two major problems1

    The problems were: 1. The USB cable does not fit into any port on my MacBook pro laptop. 2. Amazingly, the other end of the cable didn't even fit into the mic itself!!! I've returned the mic to Best Buy!

      Unfortunately the Yeti doesn't come with a USB Type-C cable, which I'm assuming your MacBook Pro input is. You could always try an adapter for Type-C to standard USB.

    Difficult to set up and use. No included instructions; probably on line. Used to talk to others with computer. Lot of feedback as it interfered with volume on computer. Listeners said volume was too loud. I don't use it often.

    It takes a screen around you and the mic if you want to not have any little bit of noise in the background. Not as good as the $20 mic I got on sale online.

      Hello, Very sorry to hear about the issues you're having with the Blue Yeti Nano microphone. It sounds like you need to turn down the gain for your microphone, which will help with the sensitivity. Either that or change the pickup pattern that you're using from Omnidirectional to Cardioid which you can do by toggling the switch on the back.       Hello, Jentuck4! I'm sorry to hear you were having issues with your Yeti Nano. It sounds like when you plugged in your headphones to the Yeti Nano it was using the microphone monitoring feature. This feature plays back anything that the microphone picks up so you can hear yourself. You can turn this down using the knob on the front of the microphone or by using our Logitech G Hub software.
