I needed to find an easy to use, high-quality microphone to record meditations. It was critical to balance my voice with the background music. I was thrilled with the Snowball! The adjustable stand was a help to get the perfect height on my desk. I used it with Garage Band and was pleased with the final results. It was more than some of the other microphones I researched, but they didn't have multiple modes like the Snowball does. I think it would be hard to be disappointed with the purchase. I have plans to use mine for podcasts as well.

I am a music production hobbyist and needed a good microphone. I was using basic non-USB microphones but the sound output was far too weak and required amplification and noise cleanup. But the Snowball gives really decent and loud signal with minimum noise. My software needed no resetting or adjustments. It was really plug-and-play. And the chrome finish looks so good that I am proud to have it on my desktop.

this is really a great usb microphone for any beginner out there. i've read many reviews and bought this when it went on sale. there are other more expensive type microphone out there but it works real well for me when i make my youtube commentary.

I have 2 computers. One where I record music and have a quasi-pro audio setup. So I was looking for a USB microphone for recording on my secondary computer. The room I am in doesn't allow for setting up mic booms, etc, so this mix was a blessing. Footprint is small enough to put on my desk. WARNING: mic is super sensitive, so don't bump whatever you place yours on. There are 3 settings (as many have pointed out) and you just have to try them to see which one works best for your application. Price is great!

It does exactly what it says on the tin. It's a good microphone, and it was a good deal. If you're looking for a good microphone, this is it. There are better ones that cost more, sure. This one has three settings. Some microphones that cost twice as much only have one! For loud noises, it has a great ambient setting. For recording your handsome voice, it also has a nice setting. If you want simply to record some music, it's also more than adequate. TL;DR- Buy it if you want a good, inexpensive microphone.

Visually, appearance is awesome. Love the oldtime radio look, with metal covering. Has a good sturdy feel. The base is a tripod deal which takes up a bit too much table space, but the mic is secure, won't topple so it does its job. Plug and Play with included cable which I wish was a bit longer. Audio quality is very good.

This is one of the easiest devices to install and it works very well. I use it Windows 10 and couldn't be happier with the recording quality.

Was looking into buying a pic for streaming and recording audio in the future. Did my research and found out that the Snowball was a good mic for the value that it was at. Does what it says it does and people notice the clarity that the snowball gives. Good buy.

Great mic. Easy to set up and seems to pick up my guitar very well

It works fine but not great. Purchased this mic for company Skype calls where I am talking to two different rooms full of employees in two separate states. It does the job if you are in the right spot but I purchased this one specifically for a 360 degree speaking zone but it seems to only work if you are standing in front of it.

I am a guitarist, computer enthusiast, and a PC gamer, and picked this Mic up to add to my audio Arsenal. After hearing great things about this mic, I tried fitting it into my daily peripherals but never stayed. If you can control your environment, this mic can actually record fairly decent audio, but for me it was too inconvenient to use as a primary mic. Pros: - Looks Cool - Decent sound if your try hard enough - Very easy to set up, plug and play with Windows 10 Cons: No list here, but it just didn't fit me well. Here are some scenarios: Gaming: It picks up way too much background noise from my speakers. You also have to be fairly close to the mic get good audio quality. When you get this close a pop filter is a must. Video/Audio Chat: - Poor sound quality if you want to sit back and relax. You have to be close to the mic to get good sound quality. Music Recording: - Sound quality is just okay. However If you are trying to record to review your own performance it does work pretty well for that.

Blue Microphones are always great and this is no exception. 3 different recording modes, a nice and long usb cable, and a nice heft and sturdiness to it make it a no brainer!

Mostly used it for voice over projects and after school learning projects with inner city kids who were doing creative writing. Will most likely use it again for an adult writing course. Enjoyed it's portability and USB compatibility.

Daughter is extremely satisfied with this product. She loves recording and posting online. This speaker is perfect for her to do this and to record with friends beside her. High quality product.

I'm so very pleased with my purchase of the Blue Snowball. The sound quality is crisp and has improved my podcast greatly. I can even share the mic with 2 other people and everyone can be heard.

This mic is really good mic for YouTubing! but ya If you`re wanting a better or just plain fantastic mic then this is the mic for you!:)

Sounded great, easy hookup. But unfortunately didn't work well with my ps4 setup I was hoping to use it with.

Almost like having your own recording studio on the go!

Purchased this microphone for my daughter who is just beginning to write/record music on her Macbook Pro. Classy looking microphone with great quality and reasonable price.

Pretty good overall but my daughter's vocals are too loud and she needs to add some compression after recording. The second setting providing -10 Db helps that out a lot. She loves it for her Youtube voiceovers.
