I installed it very easily in a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan. Installation was easy. This unit gave a new life to the van. I listen to streaming music and talk to friends, so the Bluetooth connection and hand free microphone is perfect. The sound quality is also very good. It is crisp, has really good bass and equalizer settings. I like the face plate with the multi-led colors. The fact that it is detachable is a bonus. There is an cell phone app that can work with it and it is pretty good. I removed one star because the Bluetooth connection takes a tad too long when i start the car. In one instance the connection got lost. I also don’t like that I can’t turn off the unit. Maybe I mounted it wrong but there is no simple on/off button on it. The last annoyance is the mobile app. I have to accept a warning each time the phone connects. Overall great unit at really low price.

Sounds Great, says it has 24-bit converters. In the past, I had the Premier DEH-P9800BT which has an MSRP of $600+ I wasn't impressed with the sound. Even tho, I don't have it to A/B against this model. I believe this model sounds better, even playing MP3s via Bluetooth audio threw your phone. I like you can Bluetooth music via your phone without an app. I'm sure this unit has an app as well, but I didn't test that feature. It's an RGB color background/buttons. all white isn't that bright and has a blue hue to it. My only complaint is that I would like to add or subtract the clock to any background with a push of a button. the only difference in the DEH-6220 & 6200 are 4 and 2 volts on the Pre's. This might be a plain little radio, but it sounds amazing and with all the I/O you will need for the foreseeable future.

I really like these radios. I've probably installed 10 of this particular model over the past couple of years and have had no troubles whatsoever. The sound quality is nice too, utilizing the factory internal amp. Would recommend to anyone who's looking for a solid name brand option.

Excellent quality and easy to set up with 2 phones, mine and my wife's. I have this connected to a Kicker amplifier and it sounds nice and clean. I also like how the display can be customized with many different colors but the only thing that sucks is the app keeps saying start engine to turn on main unit and wouldn't let me continue setting up the Pioneer app on my Android phone.

I have a 1988 Camaro and bought this to add bluetooth to an old car. The radio sounds great and works great. The pioneer app is a little difficult to use but you dont need it to change any of the settings. Its a great radio for anyone wanting to update an old car.

I needed a new radio for my commuter car. I didn’t really need the CD player but, that’s no problem. Long as I could use the radio through the Bluetooth on my iPhone. I can so I am happy with that. It’s got lots of good features that you have come to expect from a Pioneer stereo. Having the option to be able to change the display colors is always a bit of a fun option. I know Pioneer has had the option for several years but, it’s always a good feature. You definitely get everything you are looking for here too. Great sound quality with multiple different pre set sound settings you can use. It’s nice to have the hands free availability to talk on your phone. You just have to install the microphone that comes with it. Overall, I really like the radio and I will buy another Pioneer unit again.

Had Best Buy people install it, works great! Sound is still clear and not distorted or noisy at all. Easy to use

I bought this to replace a different pioneer stereo which didn't have the disk drive but had a phone holder and more features. So comparatively this one is more basic but no outright issues. Aside from the black and ability to bring the app up through the stereos interface. My other one could cycle through the app and navigation which made for a safer experience while driving. All in all it's a decent stereo I'd recommend it if you just need something quick for under $200

I am listening to it now more than what I expected The Blue tooth and microphone are good they can hear me clear on my calls.

Nice compact powerful unit, a lot to know. I wish they would give you more than a quick start guide had download a lot of information.

Pros: This stereo was easy to install, sounds great, and is packed with features. The Pioneer menu system is fairly easy to navigate. The price is very good for the features offered. Cons: No separate bass and treble controls, everything is EQ based. Getting the right balance between Bass Boost and the EQ presets takes some effort, but when set properly gives a nice, clean, loud sound that is well-balanced for a stereo in this price range.

Great sound, great pice, very easy to understand instructions in guide givin with radio, love the Bluetooth feature, and the pioneer name is great, and great customer service, and I had surprisingly 30 dollars in Rewards points which got me a better Radio, for a lower Price, the only negative thing there were 2 cheeper Radios but they were Out Of Stock.

Has everything on it that i was looking for. Sounds great regardless of using radio, cd player, bluetooth to ipod or cell phone. Took some time to understand how to use the phone app as a remote control, as the unit does not come with a remote.

Purchased this to replace the 18 year old 6 disc changer in my Camry. Best Buy installed it free of charge, and the tech did a great job. He was quick, efficient, and didn't leave a mess behind. It is only one disc, but the main reason I purchased it is for the bluetooth capability. It connects quickly to my phone without me having to wake it up or tell it to connect. It puts good quality sound to the speakers. Has plenty of different equalization and display options, and it's easy to use. I don't use the Pioneer app or Alexa, just amazon music off my phone (Galaxy S21+). Added bonus: my kids love all the different colors!
