Boardwalk Empire displays the corruption in Atlantic City, New Jersey during the prohibition era of the 1920's and '30's. Based on historical figures and their illegal activities this series is exciting and entertaining.

Superb storytelling. Brings credence to the old Hollywood era gangster films. These stories are so much more multilayered and complex. Excellent character depictions, always with an unexpected twist. Keeps you engaged!

If you have not seen boardwalk empire yet,,you have no idea what your missing,i highly recommend this series,you just can't get enough,can't wait for season 5 !!!!!

i have those 2 movies at a great price and they are very good movies.My wife and me enjoy those movies on this christmas,i will recomend to my friends.I hope you have prices like this more often.Than you very much.

By far the best season of the entire series. Great cast, writing, direction, production design, costumes, ect... Its a winner all the way around. I am not going to give away any details, just go watch it!

My wife and I have been addicted to this show from episode one. Everything about it is excellent; the story, setting acting, writing. We can't get enough of it. I just wish it would continue after season 5.

I really enjoyed Season 4. The Prohibition Era was an interesting period in American History. It was great to see the how far the characters have come. It would have been great to see more of Margaret.

All the seasons have been awesome but this one goes a little darker with a whole lot going on. And every bit of it is to love. Shame the next season will be the last as it only gets better and better

My wife and I can't stop watching this show. We unfortunately don't have much time for TV so we squeeze in an episode here and there when the kiddos are asleep. However, I strongly recommend it

Boardwalk Empire has a myriad of plot twists and has great acting. The story is rich and has many interesting characters throughout the fourth season. You don't want to miss this show!!!

So far I'm really liking the series. I thought this was just going to be a pale Sopranos look-alike set in the "olden days," but the story, characters, actors are pretty good!

If you haven't seen the previous three seasons make sure you do. This show has one of the best story lines on tv. It's a little slow at the start, but it picks up in episode three. Enjoy!

So far I have watched Seasons 1-2, and am looking forward to seasons 3-4 which I do own on blu ray. A good show complimented by Blu ray tech which helps the sound and hearing the dialogue. Anything else go to IMDB to read about the episodes. The acting is solid and the show continues to deliver a good escape from the real world into the past.

This series is up to the usual HBO quality. Great acting, great story lines, and, awesome visuals. If you missed this series on HBO or just want to watch it again, get the DVD sets.

I've enjoyed this series very much over the multiple seasons but it seems like it might be running out of steam. Still enjoyable but doesn't beat the first season. If you are a follower definitely buy it but not the first season I'd go with even if on sale ( I sometimes will buy a second or third season just to check it out if the price is right).

Love Boardwalk Empire, it never ceases to entertain. After watching the first three seasons, couldn't wait to see what happens to Nucky, Margaret and Gillian!

Great movie, can't wait for the new season. The lives of each person sure is exciting and I am glad the ending of each of them is so real. You get caught up in their lives..

Entertaining season of the popular series. The twists and turns of early, organize crime keep your attention as the plot unfolds. Enjoyed each episode thoroughly.

Season Four has so much action and drama, you never want it to end. It delivers in such a fulfilling way even that even the Sopranos falls short in accomplishing.

This show is amazing, and best buy has a great deal on the pricing. I had previously bought from Amazon instant video but best buy had a much better price.
