Became interested in this series after seeing some videos on Youtube. This series is awesome.

Terrence Winter's follow up to his much beloved, The Sopranos, had a lot of high expectations from the built in fanbase. From the pilot episode, directed by Martin Scorsese, audience members knew they were in for something special. While the series did deteriorate in certain qualities in the latter seasons, the show still comes to a satisfying conclusion and will be worth the time of any fan of the crime genre. The Bluray collection boasts an excellent audio/visual presentation and the bonus disc, exclusive to this set, provides enough supplemental content to be worth the price for anyone who has not purchased any of the seasons individually. If you can pick it up for a reasonable price, this set comes highly recommended from this reviewer.

Love this series! Normally I’m not into mob-styled shows or movies, but this group has a special chemistry (I think). So far the discs themselves are in good working condition. Only had 1 issue with a smudge or something and cleaned it off and no more issues. If you haven’t watched this, check it out! Hopefully you’re not disappointed. If you you are, I may put coal in your stocking this Christmas. Hehe.

Seventy bucks for this fine show was a great deal. Looking forward to binging it again

I purchased this at the after-thanksgiving sale. I love this show. I wanted it to get the box that for a long time but I wasn't able to afford it especially on Blu-ray. I highly recommend waiting until the after Christmas sales or the after-thanksgiving sales. This originally cost over $100 but I got it for 60. The special features are really cool it comes with a really awesome book. I highly recommend the show. I highly recommend the DVD box set.

This was one of those HBO series that my wife and I looked forward to watching every weekend. Had not watched it since the series ended so being able to view on beautiful Blu-ray was a real treat. This set also includes a bonus disc containing a look back at the series from the viewpoint of the cast and crew, what went into making the scenes, and lots of other good stuff. Haven't finished the whole series yet but am very happy so far!

1920's Prohibition was just passed, but that didn't stop atlantic city treasurer "Nucky" thompson from still churning a profit. Steve Buscime does a great job in the show as the main character & along the way you meet some other great mobsters that really known during that time. All twists & turns of a drama, the violence that was real between leaders & hit men alike. If you like a really good gangster story with fact & some fiction sprinkled in. This is the show!

Where else can you find a series about the Boardwalk history and it's numerous characters, such as Lucky Luciano, Al Capone, Elliott Ness and numerous others set in the time frame of the 20's and 30's? There are Prohibition bootleggers and their friends, partners and family relationships. There is back stabbing, revenge and tender moments...all in this series. Kept us riveted to the screen...never a dull moment.

If I were to truly review this Series, I would run out of room quickly. Words don't do it justice by any means. I will say it's a very authentic, hard-hitting Drama about Prohibition, based mostly on the East Coast. Steve Buscemi is great in everything he does, but especially here. One of my top 5 TV Series of all time.

Boardwalk Empire is a fantastic HBO series with great writing, and a magnificent ensemble cast. Set in the 1920's during prohibition, the story shows how gangsters, crooked politicians, and wealthy men all conspire to make a fortune from bootlegging alcohol. I consider it to be one of the best television series in history.

Boardwalk Empire is definitely one of the greatest shows to emerge in recent years. Any fan of the show, The Sopranos, is going to love Boardwalk Empire. I did purchase this during Black Friday week, so at $54.99 plus tax I couldn't pass up the deal. Even at regular price, I would recommend purchasing this show.

We had watched the 1st 2 seasons on Amazon Prime, then Best Buy had a sale on the series, went out and purchased the complete set. Great, we were watching 6 shows a day, we got that involved as the show progressed. One of the good features, was getting a DVD on how the show was produced. Overall I'd give it 5 stars

Great series, was watching on Amazon Prime, then Best Buy had a deal on the entire series, so we decided to purchase the complete set. We watched the entire series in about 3 weeks, excellent series. Great sets, just a real good series about the 20's & 30's.

I have kept my eye on this series for quite some time. I recently walked into Best Buy and found this at the lowest price I’ve seen yet for a new copy. Plus I used my Best Buy credit card to purchase and got extra points. Win-win!

This was an amazing show. So many talented actors. They really made you feel like we still lived in the old days. The box set is very well put together. I bought it and it goes great with my sopranos blu ray and the wire blu Ray box sets!

Boardwalk Empire became one of my favorite shows when I watched it on HBO and once I saw the price on sale, it was a no brainer to purchase. It's also great that you get a digital codes for all seasons included.
