I like the drone instrument of Bob’s raspy voice well enough. Murder Most Foul, a collage of swept up references from his workshop floor, is a mere curiosity. He once cobbled the jumble of such juggled random shiny coins from his spare pocket change into weighty musical temples such as Sad Eyed Lady, but this time it seems to be just a random ramble. Not history because it’s too forgettable. I will return to it from time to time I am sure just to ride the raspy drone. That’s good enough for me.

Gorgeous gatefold 2-record set. It's good to have Dylan return to original songwriting, informed by his musical explorations and life experience.

A really excellent addition to Dylan' s discography. This lp is worth getting just to listen to a muder most fowl. Great songwriting for the one and only Bob Dylan. In an era where everything sounds the same this is certainly something different .

Great album!!! Bob Dylan at his best!!! Worth every penny!!!

Bought this because girlfriend read and heard great reviews but only one song. Turns out it was the only song on any of the four sides she liked and she is now calling the album a huge waste. I'm am ambivalent having listened to it only once and recalling two or three songs that caught my ear. Side four is basically American Pie/Abraham, Martin and John made much longer. Much longer. No problem with Best Buy, they delivered on time as advertised but Dylan should apparently have rested on his Travelling Wilburys laurels.
