I bought it for my hubby but I love it. Perfect to make a quick cup of coffee!

I hadn't had a French Press in years so got excited to purchase and use. However, no matter how I ground the coffee, the press made a cloudy cup. And following directions...even when 'pre-heating" the container and my coffee cup...the four minutes wait produced coffee that was not very hot.

Awesome product! Great for gifts or yourself! Well recommended

I love the aesthetics of this French Press, however it does seem to let the grounds into the brew a lot. It very well could be me, but I have tried everything to stop it happening and it does spoil the experience when you get a mouthful of coffee grounds when you're not expecting it.

Good product , so far so good just a bit pricey. . .

I love coffee almost as much as this French press!

- My fiancé and I prefer French press coffee over pour over or drip; so while browsing the store, we noticed this attractive press with its modern styling and absolutely had to have it even for the somewhat costly price tag of 50$ for a glass beaker and metal... but You get the point for 50$ I expect at least 5mm or 7mm glass maybe? At least durable if thinner... but this glass is anything but durable.... Press worked absolutely perfectly for about 1 month, not even quite, then we opened the dishwasher and it was broken laying in the bottom of the dishwasher... So no impact, nothing around it to have hit it.. simply the heating and cooling of glass.. This is a coffee maker you would think it could handle going from hot to cold. So when we went to return to Best Buy they apologized but as we all probably have learned the hard way. Best Buy doesn’t have the best return policy, and understandably so with its costly selection of electronics. But with all that said they directed me to the manufacturer and reassured me that they would fix the issue for me! So when on the phone with the manufacturer they inform me that they warranty everything about the product, yet they do not cover or warranty the glass... But I can purchase a replacement beaker for 35$ after shipping and handling. The manufacturer informed me, “this is a very common happening, and most people just vie to buy a full new press. No discounts offered no apologies just that they’re glass breaks often too bad and that they sell more... So I guess take this all into consideration when purchasing this press unfortunately.... By the way I hardly ever leave negative reviews, simply due to the fact that anymore most retailers or companies stand by their products... Well longer than 30 days or whatever...

It is a good looking french press coffee maker. It can be use for making tea as well.

We had this coffee maker for less than two months before it cracked in the dishwasher. I contacted the manufacturer's customer service and they told me I broke it and it just got worse in the dishwasher and they would not warranty it. This product is advertised as dishwasher safe and obviously it is not, and when it cracks they will tell you it is your fault and buy another. This was my first and last Bodum product.

It started to rust after the first use. I definitely do not recommend this item.

I've owned several of these and they work so well. Great tasting coffee!
