Bohemian Rhapsody, the man the myth the legend Freddie Mercury, portrayed by Robby Malik was incredible, having been born in 1967, Queen was hitting it's strayed in the mid to late 70's, I was very impressed with their music at the time, but had no idea of the origins of the band let alone the background of Freddie, Malik hits his performance out of the park, his appearance, attitude and on stage antics are spot on, My 18 year old son is now a real Queen fan after seeing this movie 5 Star for sure

Really enjoyed this title. Great mix of biography and discography that provides an interesting glimpse into some of the interactive, creative, and sometimes combative forces that went into making some of the most long-lived, beloved music of all time. Saw this in theaters with my early-teen daughter and she became an instant Queen fan. (and the one I bought this item for) It's fun seeing an iconic band like Queen for the first time again through her eyes. Special features are a great addition.

The casting for this movie was BEYOND amazing! I really enjoyed this movie from start to finish. I know they didn't get a lot of things dead accurate but it was still an amazing movie. Rami Malek could have seriously been Freddie Mercury's twin! The Live Aid show at the end of the movie was spectacular. That was one whole scene that they knocked COMPLETELY out of the park. If you haven't seen the side by side comparison on youtube you should go look it up! Your mind will be blown!!

It’s a story (maybe not true to the T) based on Freddie Mercury’s life and the band Queen, but it’s not just a must see but a must own! Music, story and the role filled by Rami Malek, he does a phenomenal job as do the other actors as the members of Queen. Not to mention the final scene which brings all the feels! Never got to see the OG Queen life but in this film, you feel like you’re right there front row captivated by their incredible musicianship! Long live Queen AND long live Freddie!!

I never thought I would see this at the theater but was bored and saw it in our CXC it was so good I saw it twice bought the album and 9 additional songs. surprising since I'm so tired of gay story lines being forced in all tv shows and movies. I bought this and watched again but was slightly not as impressed the cut a scene that was funny and I don't have a good surround to take full advantage of it. its definitely worth a watch even if you're not into this type of music, i'm not and I did.

Takes you back to the huge Live Aid performance from Queen and the history (with some liberties taken) of one Freddie Mercury joining the band and their take off into rock stardom. Rami Malek is brilliant as Freddie. He has all of his moves and mannerisms down. It keeps from becoming a tell all and gives you glimpses of some of Freddie’s excesses without exposing all of the debauchery that came with the rock and roll lifestyle. He comes across as talented but human. A must see !

If you love Queen's music, you'll love the movie! It's become my favorite. I didn't realized that I'd get 2 dvds in this purchase - a 4K one and an regular one. I have a 4k TV, but not a 4K dvd player, so I am grateful for both. I like the picture on the regular dvd case, the steel case is sturdy, but I wish it had the picture on it that is on the regular dvd offered. But that's just a small detail! The Live Aid concert at the end just makes you want to get up and dance!!!

Do not miss the chance to see this movie! Although it was great to see on the big screen, this is a movie you will surely watch many times over the years! The Oscar winner Rami Malek was unbelievable as Freddie Mercury and all the other cast members were awesome as well. The music, story line will keep you captivated from the moment the movie starts to the bittersweet end!! Bought the soundtrack to the film as well! There will never be a another voice like Freddie Mercury! RIP

This is a beautiful steelbook, and worthy of the movie it's packaged with. The exterior is cool, and the interior shot of the band is very well done. The movie itself is very good (though they tend to gloss over some of the harsher aspects of Mercury's life) and ends with a recreation of the amazing Live Aid performance that really was the culmination of Queen's career, and one of the best all-time live performances. A worthy addition to any steelbook collection!

First, I'm happy to have reserved the Steelbook version. I've always enjoyed this type of packaging. But the blu-ray release only deserves 4 stars because there are NO deleted scenes! The usual behind the scene features are available and the entire full length Live Aid performance. But the absence of deleted scenes is very disappointing. Deleted scenes provide insight into the filmmakers' thoughts during production. I would've liked to see the scenes that were used for the trailers - concert footage in Japan, the woman dancing by herself; any scenes with the band interacting with each other or Freddie and his family. But as a long time Queen fan, I'm happy the movie was finally released. Yes the movie has problems with factual accuracy and timelines but I'm happy Queen's and Freddie Mercury's story is finally told. Biopics rarely get the story 100% correct; ignore the critics, especially those with a political ax to grind, and simply enjoy a fun movie with an awesome soundtrack!

Saw the movie in a theater and wanted to experience it again, as well as share it with a friend who wasn't able to catch it at a theater. Excellent soundtrack; Oscar-winning performance. My only disappointment was that the jacket mentioned including as an extra the "entire Live AID performance." I took it to mean the entire Live AID concert when, in fact, it was all the footage filmed, including what hit the editor's floor. That footage was great.

Rami Malek brought Mercury back to life! Awesome movie! People were singing and clapping along in the theater! It was like being at the Live Aide concert back in the 80s. If I had a lighter I would have been lighting it like we did back in my day at concerts. The 1970 - 1980s we not only had great music, many of them from my day are now legends. AWESOME PERFORMANCE!!

I have been a Queen fan since the mid-1970s. I really enjoyed this movie, even though I know it is not completely accurate. The actors chosen to play Queen did an outstanding job. I would have included the entire Live Aid concert in the theatrical release, but it was great to have it as an extra. I was disappointed that John Deacon was not involved in the movie, but glad to see that Brian & Roger were; a third input may have corrected some of the errors.

The SteelBook case alone sold me on this movie due to it resembling a certified gold edition Vinyl/LP. The movie quality is also superb which is also one of the main reasons for purchasing this edition. The price was also no more or less than I expected to pay so no complaints there. The movie itself is amazing and Remi Malik's performance was more than deserving of his academy award for best actor. What other reasons do you need to buy this?!? DO IT

I purchased this DVD for my wife as she is a real fan of Queen and Freddy Mercury. This movie was exceptional with a great condensed Biography of the bands beginnings to Freddy Mercury's passion about music and his life leading up to Stardom. I thought it was a very good movie to watch and was entertained by the music and drama. I can see why Rami Nalik won Best Actor for his Great performance and acting skill portraying Freddy And his Beloved band.

First of all the steel book, I was a bit disappointed with the cover image. I would've liked the original Blu-ray cover image or the movie theater poster image. I would've also liked more color than just the plain goldish color. But, that's my opinion. Anyway, about the movie, this movie is great. Freddie Mercury is one of the most beloved rock stars that ever lived. The film talks about the rise of Queen through there songs and unique sound. Queen does reach success, but like in every band, problems evolve. Anyway, I don't really want to throw any spoilers, all I can say is that Bohemian Rhapsody is an honoring of Queen, their music, and their incredible lead singer Freddie Mercury. If you're a fan I totally recommend this movie.

Bohemian Rhapsody is a good film about the history of the immortal rock group Queen and more specifically about its super talented front man Freddie Mercury. The heart and soul of the movie is Rami Malek astounding portrayal of Mercury. The film's ending with Queen's legendary appearance at the Live Aid benefit concert in 1985 is the icing on the cake. Even better is the fact that bonus features includes the full 21 minute concert sequence. Malek looks and moves so much like Freddie Mercury that it's almost spooky. Technically the HDR image does not disappoint and Atmos, while used sparingly, adds a level of depth to the musical performances. If you love Queen or the music of their era, Bohemian Rhapsody is a worthwhile purchase.

I was thrilled that they were making a film about one of the greatest rock bands ever and one of my top five of all time. The actors they got to portray the band are amazing. It's great to see how they got started. I was fortunate to have seen them live in concert back in the early eighties. This film is really more of a bio of Freddie Mercury but you get enough of their history. You can really see how important they were to music history.

Really, who doesn't love rocking out to all of this band's classic anthems? There isn't another band that quite has the diversity, staying-power, and raw rock and roll sound as Queen. To see their and Mercury's story unwind on the big screen is quite a treat to see. The movie also goes into depth of how some of their greatest hits came into being. If you are a Queen fan, then it is quite a disservice to yourself not to see this movie.
