Kurt Russell in a western... I'm in! Kurt Russell in a horror movie... I'm way in!!! Bone Tomahawk gives you both and is really well done on both fronts. Highly recommended to anyone who likes either of the genres mentioned.

I’m not a huge fan of western style films, but I highly recommend this movie. It’s beautifully shot and has a great cast. Richard Jenkins is my favorite actor as the deputy. However, you will see things you can never un-see during the last 10-15 minutes of this film. DO NOT LET ANY SPOILERS GET YOU!

This western horror story can tell you how life was back then. How people live and how they deal with the darkness of the west. One of the best movie in years without all the blood. A must see movie of the Wild Wild West.

It's gruesome, it's gruesome, and it's gruesome...especially toward the end. Overall is a fantastic movie. Kurt Russell did a phenomenal job. However, if you can't stomach over gruesome scene.... just rent it first.

I'm not sure this film even got a cinematic release. A shame if that's true, because it's a nifty little genre piece, with a memorable performance by the ever-dependable Kurt Russell. Well worth checking out.

Watch immediately if you're a fan of Kurt Russell or original horror movies. The writer/director does not disappoint in crafting a very original, entertaining Western that approaches a gory conclusion ominously and with very well-crafted dialogue. The acting is mostly very good. Russell, as always, is a badass. Richard Jenkins delivers an outstanding performance and Patrick Wilson shines as well. Prepare yourself for a slow burn that doesn't rely on cheap scares or predictable action sequences.

This movie is absolute genius. I really don't want to say more. it's better if you go into the film thinking what you're intended to think, that's part of the genius of the film. I really can't say enough about this movie. If you like Fargo, the unforgiven, and 12 monkeys, you will definitely like this film. Be aware that there's a 10/10 gross gory scene in the movie, which is sort of unfortunate because most folks can't handle that and I can't recommend it on those grounds.

Love Kurt Russell in Tombstone so thought this would be worth a watch. Far from Tombstone. This was more Clive Barker type horror. Not bad premise. Little slow at times. You'll love the "splitting" scene.

Pleasantly surprised I found it an entertaining macabre mystery thriller horror with outstanding performances by a quality ensemble of veteran actors working with good dialogue from a competent script.

I suspect that this movie will not be for everyone. I thought the whole concept was portrayed well considering the core of the plot. I guess I am glad I watched it......not really sure.

This movie flew under the radar - it was great in the sense that I had no idea what would happen next AND it had a rawness to it that keep it interesting. Slow in some spots, but pretty good cast.

This was one crazy movie. Comical at times and deeply disturbing most. Great acting (every single actor fully committed). Flashback Western transformed into terrifying horror. What a trip.

Wow, i never saw this coming. This is definitely a different kind of western, lots of gore , but surprisingly excellent acting , not for the faint at heart. But totally recommended.

Bone Tomahawk was a very entertaining intense western. All of the actors and actresses give very believable performances. The kills are quite graphic. It's definitely worth your time & $money.

Kurt Russel plays sheriff Franklin Hunt in this strange and different western about cannibal savages that kidnaps settlers from a small town and how they go about trying to rescue them.

Dont let the straight to video thing fool you. The movie is great and russel as allways plays a good role. The production values are not cheap and the movie feels just like a theater flick.

Kurt Russell gives as great a performance in this film as he did in the Hateful Eight (as seen with the same Grizzly Adams look). Western, gore and horror fans should give this a try.

Great movie set in the west. lots of great action. Even though this is straight to video i would have paid to see it on the big screen. Kurt russel plays his role really well.

A lot of stars in this one. A bunch of people in the town are kidnapped and the sheriff and other throw together a posse to get them back. All is not as it seems.
