I bought this to use while I was in NYC for a week staying at a family member's place who was out of state and did not have the Internet hooked up. I chose Boost because they had double the data that anyone else had for the same money. Setup was easy and it worked flawlessly out there between two computers and I still had a good amount of data leftover. No problems, no issues whatsoever.

I like this hot spot because it was a reasonable price, it handles up to 10 devices at a time, it offers 10 gigs of data for $50 (which other hot spots gave you 5 or 6 for the some $50), & it works very well where ever I go (so far).

I got this prepaid data so that I could stream movies and temporarily use it for internet service on my laptop while I was staying overnight at a house with no internet service. Data runs out too quickly and not just that Sometimes it would glitch. I would pay for extra data just to avoid suspension, but paying prepaid $60 plus extra $10 for every 2gb data is small amount for a whole month.

10 GB should be plenty. The price is great too. I signed up easily. Now, I do not have to worry about using open wifi and being hacked. There is enough GB to share with family or friends. The item is small and doesn't take up much room. I love it!

If you don't like to be locked into a year long or longer contract, this is a great option. Sometimes the signal goes down, but for the most part the device is reliable for internet service at an affordable price.

Good device. Con - Heats up after being on for an hour so need to turn off and cool down. Makes it a bit more challenging on long outings if you need WiFi.

I purchased the Boost Hotspt and used it for a month while I waited for my home broadband internet to be installed. The associate at Best Buy suggested Boost as a more cost effective hotspot option. After getting home, I turned it on and the signal was at 1 bar. I called Boost and they did said I should have a strong signal given my location. They did some troubleshooting, but that only minimally improved my signal. Overall my experience with the Boost hotspot was poor. On most days, the connection was equivalent to a dial-up connection.

Mobile 4GLTE, 10 GB for $50 is pretty good value. Device is small enough to be inconspicuous and seems sturdy enough to withstand less than gentle handling. Decent battery life.

Bought with understanding that coverage area included a certain geographical location, which it does not. Works fine in other areas. Bright vertical line hampering display has appeared- don't know why.

We bought this after Hurricane Michael as we lost all cable and have no real option but a hot spot. This little guy does the job fairly well. It doesn't seem to get great reception but it does still do the job. Have used one other similar unit which was a more expensive one but this one seemed to work as well.

I found it would work well certain places in Los Angeles very well. But only 2 or 3 bars at its most, dissapointing. It would be that way for continued use for only YouTube videos at the rate of $50.00 dollars and would only last about 10 days, for 10gb. If I run out it would have to be reloaded again or wait till it reloads automatically if I choose so through the website. Not great at all.

I can't believe that I didn't switch to this years ago. I could have saved a ton of money! I haven't had any problem with my wifi. I use this for my business, where we only need wifi for about two hours a day. I got to cut the cord with the telcom giant that gave me awful service and save money in the process. One of the best purchases I've made in a long time!

I purchased this hopes it would work (connect) at my place in the country and was disappointed when I got no signal. Not that device or service was bad, Verizon and T Mobile doesn't work either.

Got this as a clearance item at a low price. Using it in stead of a 3G unit from Internet on the Go. I've seen data rates above 4Mbps, or 2-3X the best that the 3G mobile hotspot can do. The downside is that $50 buys a 1 month contract with 10GB of data. (Unused data are not carried over.) IotG was $29/2GB that don't expire. If you have a smart phone that can be run as a mobile hotspot, don't consider one of these.

I needed a way to access the internet while I am on the road. The hotspot works well within its coverage area. Unfortunately, the coverage is very limited especially outside urban areas.
