This phone is amazing. The camera takes clear realistic photos, phone is easy to use, and very thin for portability. I loved it so much I bought another one for my daughter. Highly recommend.

I have the HTC DESIRE 510 4G LTE phone. It is a very good phone with a 4.7" screen and a front and rear camera. The only thing this phone needs is a flash for the camera.

Camera sort of sucks, and lacks flash. However, in every other regard this phone is very complete, hitting a great balance for cost and versatility. It comes preloaded with everything most people need, which is fortunate because ALSO its internal storage is almost packed full. There's hardly any room to install apps of your own choosing. I had to "root" the phone per instructions on HTC website before I could uninstall some of the preloaded junk and make room for my own junk. But if you're not a person who customizes heavily... You'll LOVE this phone. It already has it all. It's one of only a handful of devices which qualify for Boost's "Mobile WiFi Hotspot" feature (although the hotspot app is not preloaded, you'll have to manually download it and manually add it to your prepaid plan). Picks up signal very well. Nice feel. Good pocketable size, ample screen. Looks as sleek as an iPhone and gets random compliments from strangers. It's a conversation starter.

Holds a wonderful charge & durable. Sometimes takes forever to download due to signal strength. Great signal strength for conversing. Does what needs to do for child. Major disadavantage memory is only 4mg on phone & HTC apps always need to be updated. . .some automatically download, I disabled many apps. No flash on camera, nope all phones do not have. If using to talk & text only great phone. Price was wonderful on sale for $50 plus tax, I love a bargain.

Although the internal space is not nearly large enough for my use, I can't complain at all about this phone. The fact that the camera on the front is also not the best is the only other downside. I got this phone for an awesome price and I really like it.

this phone is good for people who are really on a budget and want a large display smartphone. The camera is not that great so don't expect any decent photo and there is no flash available. the internal storage is about 800-900mb but you can easily root and unlock the bootloader on HTC's website to remove bloatware and flash custom roms on this for people who are interested. you can expect about 4-5 hours for casual usage such as browsing and watching videos. browsing and playing games on this is pretty smooth but keep in mind the small internal storage. Overall buy this when it is on sale for about $50-$60.

The phone is good, fast and sleek. But the camera function is not all that great. It lacks flash. So therefore you can't use applications that require it. But for the money, you can't go wrong.

We bought this phone as a cheap replacement to an HTC Evo 4G. It gets the job done, especially if all you're doing is facebook, news, youtube, light apps, calls/texts/emojis, daylight pictures. The camera MP isn't high vs. 2015 standards, so don't expect anything crystal clear. However, getting older reminds me I don't need a phone that could potentially do EVERYTHING in 2015, because the likelihood of me actually utilizing it is slim to none... just like everyone else.

Serviceable android device with a mediocre camera and not too great of storage capacity. I recommend it for those users that are older and don't require a device that can do it all and have it all. Also could be a great device for junior high students who don't do much with phones either. Besides those age brackets, it would serve as a cheap stop gap for something bigger and better.

Fantastic and Nice! HTC Desire Phone is easy and quick to learn. Nice and worth it with the money i paid on it. Fast and affordable. I had other phones before this one and there is not too much of a difference. basically the way the apps pop up and the certain things open and are displayed were the only difference. If you want something to be able to budget and save money HTC would be great and perfect. i even went to BoostMobile. Phone is ideal to use if trying to stick to a budget. Also best buy has the Geek Squad really cheap and i just went the other day to return my phone because it fell and screen would not work. I had NO ISSUES in returning the item and received another one under the geek squad plan that i only paid 10 dollars for the year! I was amazed that it was that easy.

My daughter bought this phone and when I set it up for her I really liked it so when my other HTC wouldn't charge any longer I went and got one for myself. I was excited that it was on sale $30 less that what the price was when my daughter had gotten it. I am very satisfied with it except the fact that the internal memory is eaten up by all the preinstalled stuff that I will never use ... and it can't be uninstalled. I moved every thing to my SD card that I could, disabled stuff I will never use, and uninstalled updates from other things that mean nothing to me. Still I have a tiny bit of space left. Since the main function of a phone is what i need the most I can live without all the extra apps so I will keep the phone and enjoy it!

The phone is great and easy to use. The only thing is it needs more internal storage or when downloading something it should give a choice if you want it on the sd card instead of always saying insufficient space on device for download.

There is no camera flash and very little internal space which is annoying when trying to download to your SD card or update an app but you can't bcuz there is no space on the physical phone which shouldn't be an issue when the phone is set on SD storage

Awful camera. No flash. Very little internal storage plus ability to transfer apps to external card is very limited. Volume is too low for music, video files. One speaker on the front and one on back...does not sound like stereo. Call are hard to hear.

Over all HTC Phones tend to be great phones, but this one looks to be be that but total let down in terms of storage, 4GB is but a slap in the face. And the performance it not of what HTC usually is. This one only has the name, but nothing else.

Overall, my daughter is happy with this phone, however, it's becoming increasingly more frustrating that she doesn't have enough space. She finds herself constantly deleting apps to install new ones. She dislikes how she isn't able to uninstall Facebook which takes up a lot of space since she doesn't even use it. The other complaint is that the keyboard screws up sometimes. It bounces around sending out strange symbols. This has only happened a few times. On the positive, the online feature works just fine. No problems with that. It's her first phone and I didn't want to spend a lot. For what it does, it's worth the money. For additional features, I'd spend a little more next time.

I had actually previously purchased this phone for $100. After the phone went on sale for $60 I was able to return it and get the sale price. Even at the $100 price I was fairly satisfied, but now that I only paid $60 I am totally excited. The biggest thing for me is performance. If my phone lags or has a hard time navigating basic things like websites, that is a huge bust. With this phone I've had no issue like that. Keep in mind I don't use this phone for playing games. It's more of a task and media player type phone. And for the purpose and price I am very satisfied!
