Love this new GALAXY prevail. I read the comments and made me not sure to purchase this phone. I met with the best buy salesman and I was torn between the blackberry curve or this phone and he told me that the items I was unsure about was for people that had 4 g phones and this is a 3 g phone. It is easy to use and the typing is a bit cumberson but if you turn the phone to landscape its easier to type. I would reccomend this phone to anyone!

This phone is great for my 15 year old I got it and it does get stuck often and it freezes and the memory on it is really bad has a bunch of apps that take up your memory that I will never use like the dating one and it doesnt let you remove it or transfer it to the memory card so it needs improvement on that

This phone is great have had it two months now and can't say one thing bad about it.
The 55 Dollar ..plan is everything unlimited so that's the best out there and "No Contract" for all you people that get tied into a 2 year contract..What for?
This as a true Android Gingerbread Phone with all the bells and whistles.
Great coverage
Battery last all day
Nice screen not the top but clear.
All Android Apps available with built in Navigation that works well.
"Its a Samsung"
If you want a great phone and "unlimited everything" and no contract for the price you can't go wrong.

I'm not an expert and have only owned two "smart" type phones. This one by and large is the best one I've ever owned. The battery could last longer. I have to charge it twice a day to keep it above 50% when I use the browser and music program. As well as usual talk and text. The phone freezes about once every week to 10 days. It's a bummer when this happens but the other phone I owned would freeze daily. Over all I'm very happy with this phone and would recommend it to anyone.

Saving me money every month

So I received a high bill from my cell phone provider and thought I would try Boost for a month. I found out Boost runs on Sprint mobile. I was expecting a few droped calls and some dead zones for the internet. Not the case. I live in the Dallas TX area, and this phone with Boost service is out preforming my other phone. I will gladly pay the termination fee to get out of my contract. I est I will be saving $50+ by using Boost.

I love my Samsung phone. It has all the features I would use on on an iphone. I also get a good signal everywhere I go which was a concern when I signed up with Boost. If you leave your wi-fi and 3g off you still get your text and messages and the battery lasts 3-4 days without shutting the phone off. Good clarity and loud if necessary. I would highly recommend this phone and the shrinkage plan offered.

bought this after my blackberry stopped working after only 5 months. I didn't buy the warranty(dummy me). Figured that I would upgrade even though I really liked my blackberry. Really glad I bought this phone, my first android. The only thing I don't like is having to unlock the phone all the time and all the apps that came with the phone. Took a minute to get use to the touch screen, I kept hanging up on people.

This phone is a very good touch phone. At first the battery life did not last more than a day. I installed advanced task killer (free app) and it will last for two days before having to charge. Also, make sure that you turn wi-fi off. I keep the 3G on and it works fine. Think you will enjoy this phone.

I decided to give my teen the responsibility of a bill. I purchased this phone and gave it to him. He likes it. It works very well but the WiFi went out on it. We aren't certain if he did something incorrect or if its a defect in the phone. Overall it gets the job done.

coming from a mytouch fender and my wife had a blackberry curve we both are very pleased with these phones its definetly not the best android out but if you want a good android phone for 50 bucks a month paid 179.99 with a free 50$ airtime so me and my wife saved 100$ great value and service is good completely happy with our purchase

Its great!!! I'm on it all the time. I text and post on Facebook a lot so its best to tilt it sideways. Its so easy to use. If you are going to have a lot of apps then you need a MB card. Also the battery runs down fast if you sync your E-mail and Facebook. But I love it and wouldn't trade it for nothing in the world. Hope you love it as much as I do!!!

Is it using a watch battery?

I didnt realize that its more like owning a laptop. You only get like 2 hours of web usage until the battery drains. For some reason, it charges very slowly. Even while plugged in and using the net intensely, your battery will STILL lose power or make no forward progress! Samsung, if youre going to make phones like this youre going to have to make a much stronger battery and charger!!! Perhaps one that plugs into a 220 oulet! Other than that its great. Ive used it constantly all week and no lockups, very stabile, pretty smooth, love the features and apps!

Love this phone. It is very easy to use. I have had this phone for a week now. The one and only thing I don't like about this phone is the battery life. If you are using the phone to just talk your ok. If you are on the phone all the time this is not the phone for you. Other than that I have no complaints. Amazing what all this phone can do.

This phone was a replacement while I was traveling. My previous phone died and would not recharge. The phone was $60 less than the original phone. Great price. The service at the Charlotte store was wonderful. Jose made the transfer to the new phone in 20 minutes and I was back on the road. I had the old phone looked into and the problem was a defective car charger. I now have two phones. I think the old phone will be a great hand-me-down for a young family member.

Great Phone, Great Plan, bad service

I really wanted this to work. it was my first android phone and loved the 55 a month with shrinkage. The phone is really good and i can do pretty much everything my brother does on his $350 phone. the plan is great i am used to paying $75 min but usually around $100, my wifes is on sprint and is more like $125/mo. the phone does use battery quick if you keep wifi or BT on. i keep them off.
The Bad. I live in zip code 60543, IL. the boost map shows good coverage and the nearest tower(sprint) is less than 10 miles away.
the phone drops calls alot. usually 1-2 times every call. usually happens in the first 2 minutes, if i can get past that its good for the rest of the call. one day it happened 5 times out of 6 calls.
i have spoke to boost 3 times and samsung once with no resolve. i cant figure out if its the phone or the cell signal. im thinking more cell signal.
which shows best buy cares more about sales than its customers because im sure they have complaints and keep selling boost anyway.
so my advice test it well in the first 14 days and if its not quality take it back. i bought mine around xmas and was out of town and didnt even use it much. by the time i figured it has a problem i was past the return deadline.
so again.
Great Phone
Great Plan
check the service in your area well.
last maybe buy phones from the real phone people like verizon
or sprint. i think best buy is a wanna be in this area.
i wont buy from them in fixing this problem. going to Verizon now.
oh one last thought on keyboard - kind of small. if you were a blackberry power user like me typing on this will be very tough. i routinely spell real bad and dont even bother with fixing it now.

Although I do not have boost mobile with this phone (sprint) I will definitely purchase these for my teen and preteen. I am totally satsfied with mine. The camera is an incredible bonus! Battery life is okay now that I disabled the programs that were draining it.
