Entry Level Smart Phone

I have had Boost for a long time for the value of it (almost down to $35 a month!) but I have not been a big fan of the phones. Sure I can get an awesome new smart phone for free anywhere, but then I have to spend at least $80 a month for unlimited everything (with little catches depending on the company) and a long contract with all sorts of things to make it impossible to break or change phones. This is for the budget conscience shopper of cell phones who wants it all, or as much as you can get, but wants to spend the least. It's not the latest greatest and no Iphone, but good for a smart phone that you only spend $50 a month for. You get what you pay for! In this case, that's not a bad thing.
If your a smart phone geek, go elsewhere. The phone is not that slow for the average user. I'm sure you can bog it down with apps and music, but I didn't buy it to be all that. I have several apps, no music, and quite a few numbers in it but it works just fine and is not slow at all. The network is reasonable, but hey, it's Boost. The reception is not always great in some areas, while some days are better than others, but that is not the phones fault. Again, I get what I paid for and for $40 a month for me currently, I got an awesome deal.

I bought this phone about a month back and I must say that I am impressed. I read all of the reviews on it and I went with the positive feedbacks. When I first got the phone, It did not freeze up. But as I started adding certain apps, it started freezing like crazy. So I removed the apps I had installed, reset the phone and had no problems with it freezing or locking up on me....Suggestion...add one app that you want and if it freezes, it's a bad app, then try another, and so on. Worked for me.

I bought this phone thinking I would be able to use it in S Korea. But sadly I am not. Korea is a CDMA country but they said they are WCDMA. Anyway they dont have the Samsung Galaxy phone available for prepaid options. Even though I was told phone was unlocked upon purchase. It is not. No sim card to get to as it is embedded in phone somewhere. The wifi works in hot spots though. Also only 2 language options offered on phone is English & Spanish. Anyone interested in buying it from me?

I have had blackberry's and iPhones. I hate the AndroidOS. The screen was scratched to hell with days of having it out of the box. It has almost no internal storage and all though it comes with a 2GB mini SD card, Just buy a 4GB or 8GB card when you buy the phone if you plan on buying any apps or music. I have no music and only Facebook, Runkeeper and Pandora on the phone and it lack enough internal storage to even update them. The charger that came with it over heated and now the phone wont recognize its own charger. It needs to charged almost constantly. Speaker is on the lower back of phone so I cant look at the pandora interface and control and listen to music at the same time. to get good sound it needs to be placed on its screen. Least reliable battery of any phone I have ever owned. Camera is the worst of any phone Ive had, slow. Every photo op I have tried to capture with my phone has failed. I just dont use it. Poor quality camera as well. Also the phone comes stocked with AndroidOS apps that are useless and cant be deleted for space. Hookd? Layar? I have no complaints about Boost Service its self just the over priced phones they offer. I have had this phone for maybe 4 months and the touch is broken, bottom half wont respond and I now have no phone. Waste of money. This phone sucks.

The phone is wonderful. Although before I've had it 1 month, I already will be having to come exchange for a new one. Phone has never been dropped nor exposed to water or heat. It runs very slow at times, the top half of the screen freezes, the android market doesn't always download and there is a Google framework error that keeps popping up. Still would recommend this phone though. The things above are kinda something you expect from touch screen phones.

My only gripe is the touchscreen keyboard and Swype. This, however, will probably get better as time goes on and I get used to it.
You Tube on this phone looks amazing.
No other problems with this phone.

I love the phone and the apps. phone numbers are harder to get to because you have to scroll down to them instead of just putting in an M for Margaret like other phones. Also the slide over function to answer the phone doesn't always work right away, having to repeat the process until the phone answers. Other than those two things I love the phone.

I love this phone at first I was upset because it came with 2gb so I expanded the memory to a 8gb I also installed this great app called app 2 sd that helped with my memory card issue by moving my apps to the sd storage the internet isnt the best but other than that im really happy with my purchase

Good phone for the price you pay

To start off, I bought this phone for the discount it had...originally was at $159.99, and with the discount price was at $79.99. So the original might be too high but nevertheless its brand pays for it. Good functions, good battery life, good camera, overall good phone..

The battery life is very short : can use the phone for 3 hours, idle for 6 hours, charge take 3 hours.
When I try to download games on Google Play, it says "your device is incompatible to this version."
You only have 44 MB on your SD card for apps and music.
The screen is very tiny.
When I try to make a call, the sound come out from the outside speaker, making anyone can hear my conservation.

this phone has all the functions you would expect in any higher priced phone and works very well with all the apps i have installed.
the only draw back is when there are too many apps running then the battery drains in less than an hour so be sure to completely exit any apps you run.

I was stuck in no-apps-land with my motorola i1 (I lost). Now when I see an app, I can get it, and I can use it. Voice activation that works intuitively, good clear Netflix. The phone does all I ask, and does it well! If you're considering it, get it, you won't be sad you did.

It freezes up a lot. Sometimes when I try to go to my messages it takes me to the internet. The battery is horrible but I am also on it a lot. It keeps telling me I have no phone storage and limits what I can put on my SD card so I have to clear it out daily. This phone is not recommended if you are on your phone a lot or like to download a lot of apps it just can't take it.
