More of the Borderlands we all know and love, turned up to 11. I'd give the game 5 stars as a long time fan, but due to the amount of bugs and poor split-screen optimization at launch, I couldn't justify it in the current state. That being said, the game is a blast when it's running smoothly, and I would definitely purchase again. I know Gearbox is working on fixes and seems to be very responsive to their customers.

I've put MANY hours into BL3! I would give this 5 stars, if Gearbox would just address and actually FIX the crashing bug that happens often when joining multiplayer. Annoying that the whole system will shut completely off. A hard crash well after a year of the game being launched, is beyond frustrating! I feel a bit like Krieg thinking about it! Otherwise I enjoy the game a lot!

If you like looter shooters look no further. As a fan of the series this game will be no different. The graphics, jokes, and gameplay remain the same as what you have experienced and expect of the series.

I'd probably agree with most that this is just a quality of life improvement over the other Borderlands games. I don't see a problem with that, so if you're looking for more borderlands, you will not be disappointed.

The only downside was the new claptrap voice acted which I got over pretty quick but this is the best borderlands to play with friends and it’s completely viable to play solo which is a much appreciated change. 10/10

This game so far is incredible! So many quality of life changes. It feels new but familiar enough for old fans of the series.

After playing through all previous borderlands games and sucking hundred of hours into those it’s refreshing to finally have a sequel. If you love the previous games you’ll love this. More of the same great thing!

Have owned for little over a year and can say the game is still fun. Loads of content and updates, and of course loot! The characters are diverse and each is fun to play as. Would recommend.

Beautiful art style like a comic book. A lot of side missions throughout the main game make it more fun and interesting. Cool and interesting character customizations. Wide variety of weapons.

Only a few hours in as the game was just released but it's more of the same fun and quirky gameplay that has made the series such a success. If you're a fan of the other Borderlands games, you'll love 3!

Falls right inline with the rest of the series. More guns, more monsters. If you're on the fence about it, buy it, you won't regret it. If you're not interested in it, buy it, it will change your mind.

As a Borderlands fan (and it being my favorite game franchise), my review may be a little biased but..... IT KICKS MAJOR BUTT! I love it and will probably be playing it for a year straight... at least.

Amazing. Everything BL2 has but better. I have been playing non stop. I cant stop playing it. And it has many upgrades like fast travel, slide, and emailed guns. And so far no microtransactions.

Never played the original, but played the prequel and the second. They were both really fun games! This was is the same, just as much fun but with lots more to do and more features within the game!

Borderlands 3 continues the quest for the next great piece of loot, mixed with the Borderlands mix of frantic action and highly humorous characters. Definite recommendation for fans of the series.

First of all the steelbook is beautiful! The game is a richer version of the earlier games. I'm only less than 10 hours in but this has all of the trademark humor and gun-play of earlier Borderlands games. If you like those, you'll like this and likewise if you disliked those, this probably won'y change your mind. I've always appreciated this looter-shooter more so than Destiny. This is actually fun and doesn't require teammates. Started my journey with FL4K as I read that's the best character for solo play and so far can't disagree. This will take me a while to go through considering achievements and story plus the DLC is included with this version. Can't wait to get to it as well!

The game itself is a wonderful and exhilarating looter-shooter that plays so well with the upgraded mechanics... but the main story is absolute trash. Anyone who's played the other games may be disappointed to see how certain characters are presented and how others are tossed aside. I still love the game, but the story is a flop.

After 7 long years, I can honestly say that this game was definitely worth the wait. I cannot reccomnes it more to anyone looking for a fun game they can sink hours into and never be bored.

You know what you’re getting here: the next borderlands game. By that I mean, it looks, feels, and acts much like the last game but in an upgraded kind of way. It’s fun, and certainly better than the last one in terms of guns and customizations, but sometimes 6 waves deep into switching from SMG to shotgun it just hits you....I’ve played this before. Good game.
