Feels cheap but is quiet and cleans dishes well. Tight layout inside might not be for everyone. Door can't be half open, which is annoying if you just want to quickly put one object in.

Easy to install. Took me longer to run the dedicated electrical then it took me to install the dishwasher. Very quite and our dishes have never looked cleaner.

The Bosch Ascenta is a great model, we did our research on the different makes/models and decided that this is the model to go with. We are delighted with our choice. Everything we read about how quiet this model is and how clean the dishes come out is true. We have hard water and our old Frigidare dishwasher was no longer working that well. Between the new water softener and the new dishwasher my silverware and glasses are shining as if they were brand new. The handles on the baskets to pull the baskets in & out when loading/unloading dishes is helpful too. Best Buy had the best price. The delivery schedule was flexible and the installlers were able to hook it up in no time. The only drawback is it is smaller than the old dishwasher and holds about 4 less glasses on top and I can't load as many pots/pans into the bottom rack either, but we knew this when we purchased it.

The reviews were spot on. Extremely quiet. Not the best in drying. Dishes really clean. I don't love the interior set up with the silverware holder and tines in the racks... embracing change takes time I guess. Seems to hold less than my old washer, but all in all a good purchase. I would certainly buy again.

the price was the best deal. cleans the dishes to a sparkle. very little noise can hardly hear it. would definitively recommend to all that is looking the best deal from consumer reports i love it. as the others said in reviews it does dry well but i use at night and empty it out in the morning so no problems

After reading reviews and researching dishwashers, we narrowed the choice down to 2. We went to Best Buy to see each and after comparing them, we selected the Bosch. We've had it over a month now and it is really quiet. It took a couple times to learn how to load it efficiently but we have it down now and it holds more than our previous dishwasher. The only drawback so far is the latch system, not too sure of how long it will last. After seeing ours and how it worked, my parents bought one also. I hope it lasts 16 years like our last one.

The dishwasher is good, but has some minor flaws like the door using a friction snap instead of a handle to open and close, and a dishes and plates rack set that isn't super intuitive (plus it seems to smell worse than our old washer). It cleans well and is very quiet, and the variety of wash settings are nice. A little disappointed to hear the life expectancy on it is only 5-8 years though. Our last washer ran well for much longer than that.

Such a great choice extremely quiet and a wonderful cleaning and drying job. The price for such an efficient product was very economical. Very easy to use. I’m totally satisfied with my purchase and the installation team was wonderful.

Amazingly quiet. Didn’t know it was running the first time I started it. Clean most dishes. Don’t do anything caked on or burnt on. Cycles are very long as well. Not a time saver. Faster to do dishes by hand.

This machine is so quiet and the dishes always come out super clean. My only issue is its slightly smaller than the traditional dishwashers I've had in the past and it's thrown my perfected loading routine off. Hopefully I can adjust!

I love my Bosch dishwasher. It is quiet. It does a good job of washing the dishes , with no leftover residue. It gives you a choice of about 5 different cycles. There is a timer which shows you how long your cycle will take. I would recommend this dishwasher. I was also very grateful to the manager who helped me purchase this product online, Is while in the store. Originally, I purchased a dishwasher from Sears but it never was delivered. I was told that they had ordered it and that it was at the warehouse, when in fact it was never sent almost 3 months later and they keep sending me emails stating that my dishwasher is on the way. I went to Best Buy on a Wednesday and I had my dishwasher in by the following Tuesday

It has been about a month now and so far so good. Installation was pretty easy, just had to buy a fitting for the water line. The unit is very quiet and the dishes come out sparkling. If I have a complaint I wish the rack for glasses had brackets to hold wine glasses in place.

This is a good entry level dishwasher. It cleans dishes well, runs very quietly, and is a pretty good value for the price. My only complaint with this dishwasher is that it doesn't have a heated dry cycle. I'm sure this has to do with the efficiency of the dishwasher, but it's a pain having to hand dry items. We've taken to propping the door open with something once it's done to allow the dishes to air dry. Otherwise, it's always wet inside. An average cycle runs about 2 hours, which seems long. We run it at night, though, so it doesn't bother us.

It accommodates taller items in the bottom tray than my last dishwasher. The prongs are spaced closer together which takes a little getting used to, but once loaded everything comes out clean. It is quiet but not as silent as I expected from other reviews of Bosch. There is a count down timer which lets you know how long is left in the cycle. There isn't a beep at the end of the cycle like some other reviewers mentioned?? My only gripe is that there isn't an air dry setting.

I had to return this dishwasher because the door would not latch properly. Had it not been for that I think this washer would have been great. It runs very quietly and cleans very thoroughly. It's important to note that you have to clean the filter on this dishwasher fairly often or be pretty thorough cleaning off you dishes before throwing them in the dishwasher.

Very quiet dishwasher (supposedly more expensive models are even quieter, but I don't know why you'd need that). Excellent washing capabilities. I like the fact that this model does NOT have a 3rd drawer (for silverware); instead it has classic silverware baskets on the side of the first level. Standing up dishes takes a bit getting used to, the prongs are tilted, requiring dishes to be tilted - but once you figure out how to load them, it turns out to be pretty efficient. All in all, we are very satisfied with this dishwasher.

Solid dishwasher, lots of cleaning options, but I just use the auto-sensing and it cleans very well. Nice and quiet while it runs. Would have rated 5 but one star off on the rack peg configuration can be awkward.

I got a great buy on this dishwasher. It cleans very well and is so quiet I can hardly tell that it is on. The only thing I don't like is that the bottom rack comes off the track easily when I pull it out.

Does the job for much less money than more expensive models. Consumer Reports gave it great reviews. There's no heating element for drying, but if you run it on "sanitize" setting, that takes care of drying or you can simply pop open the door to let the steam out. Oh, and use a drying agent. I've had no problems with drying or unusual smells that some reviewers comment about. The layout of the racks takes getting used to, but no problems. With the bottom rack, you do need to open the door completely in order to roll the rack out. Noise-wise, it's fairly quiet. No louder than a heavy rain outside with hurricane impact windows. In other words, the noise is negligible. And probably not worth spending $1,000 for something event quieter.

This dishwasher has never worked properly since it was installed June 2013. We replaced an 11-year-old dishwasher with this one because the racks were starting to rust, but I wished we hadn't because our old dishwasher cleaned and dried the dishes just fine with Wal-Mart brand dishwasher detergent. With this new Bosch, there are always several dishes that do not come out clean. Sometimes we don't notice the faint fragments of food and then the dishes start growing mold while they're in the cabinets. I have also opened the dishwasher after it has finished cleaning the dishes to find food smeared on the inside of the door. It dries about 80% of the dishes, and you have to leave the door open after it finishes washing and "drying" because the bottom and sides of the dishwasher are completely wet and it will start to smell quickly if you don't get it dried. The dishwasher has also broken and chipped several of our glasses because the racks are not designed to hold average American glasses. No matter how well I try to separate and anchor them on the top rack, they still somehow wobble. And one of the detergents recommended by Bosch etched most of our glasses. We had our water tested and it showed as "ideal" on the hardness scale so that is not causing the etching issue. We've called Bosch with these issues 3 times, however, they continue to tell us to try different settings on the machine and various detergents. I turned on the extra dry setting and use the rinse agent but nothing has helped. Finally they had a repair guy come to look at it. He told me all the settings are correct, and I'm doing everything right, however, he could not find anything wrong with the machine and there was nothing he could do. I even showed him 3 dirty glasses and 2 bowls with mold on them that had come out of the dishwasher after it had completely finished its cleaning and drying, 2hrs 40 mins. We dislike this dishwasher so much, we bought a Maytag dishwasher today to replace it. I would rather be out $540 + tax than waste any more time and trouble on it.
