Excellent! Super quiet. My husband didnt realize it was running even though he was standing right next to it. I have to touch it to tell if I don't look for the light. I like the light that shows on the floor when it's running. It does not have a heat dry cycle and I'm glad. I never used it on my last dishwasher because I use a lot of plastic dishes and tubs. Dishes dry fine without it. The flip down storage piece on the top rack is useless except for small knives since it sits too close to the top of the dishwasher. The tines that make up the rack on the bottom which help separate the dishes are thin. Time will tell how well they hold up but I think they will be fine and it gives you a little more room for bulky items. The dishwasher is a very nice machine. That is the first time I've said that about a dishwaher. Cleans dishes perfectly. A+

Holds a lot more then I would have expected.
Sound is definitely on the quiet side.
Normal cycle seems to run a long time.
Dishwasher has a funky smell from time to time when dishes are in there without washing for a few days. Probably a normal thing - but that never was an issue with my previous dishwasher.
Washes dishes great - overall very pleased with this dishwasher and would buy it again.

This was a gift, after having no dishwasher for 8 months. It's taking me a while to remember now that I have a dishwasher again!
It was very hard to find a dishwasher w/the correct dimensions for my available space, but this worked out perfectly.
The machine itself is sleek an unobtrusive, which is great for a small kitchen.
It is also astonishingly quiet!!!! Fortunately, there's a laser light that beams red on the floor to let me know if the dishwasher is running. That's how quiet it is. In between loads, you can actually turn the whole thing off...saving electricity.
I generally don't need a lot of high tech, or choice...I run a normal cycle...but there are all kinds of options for those who like that.
The dishes come out beautifully clean, no streaks.
My signal complaint would be regarding the shelves. They feel a bit flimsy, and if my children pull the shelf out too quickly it tends to come off it's tracks more often than not. Once, the wheels even popped off. But that just means I have to teach my children to be more careful, and that seems to be working.

Amazingly quiet dishwasher. Good thing there is a red light shining on the floor when it is running. I would have preferred that the control buttons be visible when the unit is operating. The control panel is hidden when the door is shut, so we have to set the unit with all the options (including the "Start" button) before shutting the door. Also would have liked to have a "time remaining" screen. The dishes have to be loaded in the right manner to get the best washing. We don't like use a rinse aid (minimizing the use of chemicals) so we use the "extra dry" option. Dishes still come out with drops of water on them, but that happens with all modern dishwashers (didn't happen with my old 1990s Kenmore).

Does what it should--clean dishes. Not too loud, installation was fairly easy. Only con so far--the buttons feel flimsy.

I spent a LOT of time trying to find the right dishwasher. Seemingly, everyone had a problem or complain (based upon reviews). I ultimately pulled the trigger on this one, based upon the brand, and Consumer Reports reviews.
By and large I'm very happy with this machine. I had been worried (and read complaints) that it doesn't get the dishes dry, but if you use Jet Dry. they turn out fine. Sometimes I'll open the door after the cycle is done and let it cool, other times I'll run it overnight. But overall, they come out pretty dry with the jet dry. No complaints there.
The machine is indeed very quiet, as I'm sure most other reviews will attest. As for the another common complaint -- a "plastic smell" -- it may be there SLIGHTLY, but not in any way that would bother me. You'd have to look for it. So technically, there may be a slight plastic smell, but nothing to be concerned about at all.
My one slight knock is minor, in that the tines don't seem the best for lining up my dishes (I used a lot of bowls). And maybe the inside is smaller than other dishwashers, but we are only a couple, so it is big enough for us. Likewise, the tines are easy enough to make work. And I do love the utensil rack.
All in all, I am very happy with this purchase. As long as it holds, up, I recommend it.

This is the quietest dishwasher I've ever owned. It cleans amazing and has plenty of room in it for all kinds of dinnerware. Love that you can lower and raise the top rack.

Product works great so far; amazingly quiet, flexible rack configuration.
I took the day off to be home for the delivery/installation, but it didn’t happen that day. Turns out, the product had been backordered the night before, and neither Best Buy nor the installers thought to let me know. In fact, I received an email from Best Buy the previous day telling me that product was being delivered then next day. It was eventually installed a week later.

first off -- it doesn't have a heater in it to dry the dishes, so you need to open it when it's done to let the moisture escape or prepare to wipe down your dishes when you put them away. Other than that, it does a really good job of washing dishes. You don't really have to rinse your dishes first, it cleans really well. It is also pretty quiet. I like having the handle in front for hanging towels.

Runs quieter than a a ninja assassination in a high school library. Your dishes will be so clean you will become lost in their crystalline glow. Our son starred into a champagne glass too long and became enlightened, now he uses the machine to help neighborhood kids open their heart chakras.

I replaced my old dishwasher, which was still working and cleaning but was very, very noisy and the shelves started to rust. I was looking for quiet machine. that was the main concern. After searching several options, the choice was Bosh brand. I picked this one because of the performance reviews, quietness and reasonable price. so far very satisfied.

It does a great job cleaning the dishes. I love the hidden controls. It's a little hard to tell when the cycle is done. I thought it was defective at first because the dishes were still wet... probably hadn't finished the extra dry cycle. Very quiet. Maybe I'm used to my old dishwasher... this one isn't my favorite as far as loading the dishes.

excellent cleaning,so quiet that if not for the red light would not know it was washing.Dishes do dry with or without the door being open, however the inside of the washer, even the door remains wet, don't know if this will be a problem but it bothers me slightly.

We have been very pleased with our new dishwasher. It is so quiet we often don't even know if it is actually running. The dishes come out cleaner than any dishwasher we've ever had. I would recommend this product to anyone.

You can hardly tell that this dishwasher is running, it's so quiet. Does a great job cleaning the dishes. I noticed that there isn't a drying element as there was in my previous dishwasher. Did some research and discovered that the dishwasher gets so hot that the dishes dry from the heat. Because of this, plastic does not dry well in the dishwasher, so I usually hand-dry any plastic in there.

I am so bummed out that we are now stuck with this dishwasher. First off, I will admit t does a decent job of cleaning dishes. But what is REALLY bugging me is the red light on the floor (that tells you it is running) has a leak and so it's just a big red mess. This probably won't bother you, but it looks bad and it's not how it's designed to be, so it bugs me immensely! On top of this, Bosch was terrible to work with on this issue. They assumed it was installed incorrectly and said if that were the case, I would need to pay $150 trip charge for a technician to come out and look. "Lucky" for me, the tech, once here, let me know it's a "known issue" with these dishwashers. So, no trip charge for me, but why are they selling these with a "known issue"?!?! And wasting their techs' time to come out and look? There is no fix. And no resolution. And while we're at it, the bottom rack rolls off the track, every single time we pull it out. So - in short, it does an ok job cleaning dishes. But............ it raises my blood pressure nonetheless!!!

Dishwashers from 15 years ago had food grinders as part of the disposal process. Today's dishwashers have a removable filter designed such that you must reach into the bottom of the dishwasher and unscrew it, rinse, and replace. The Bosch is the only design which allows for a 2 second ease of performing this task including arrows to line up easily when finished. This dishwasher does not adequately dry plastics and items with a divot on the top side. However, I have not tried the 'extra dry' or 'sanitize' cycle options which might be necessary. I use the fast 60 cycle with excellent success. The controls are located inside the top most portion of the door so you turn on the panel, then select cycles and close. This dishwasher operates quietly so there is a red light which projects on your floor so you know the unit is operating. The interior is space efficient but the utensil tray is not practical. There are no allowances for lids or small items. There really is no good location for small casserole dishes or lunch containers. There is a top most rack designed for cutlery knives. There is a well designed top flap for keeping stemware safe. The rack prongs are nylon so they will not chip like plastic/vinyl coated wire prongs. The lower rack's wheels do not track well and are ridiculously inadequate but as long as you pull the rack forward slowly this should not be a problem.I did notice that Amazon has a wheel package replacement kit... I recycled the utensil basket from my 15 year old dishwasher with no compatibility issues. Even if you had a dishwasher previously, I recommend professional installers. My husband and I installed 2 dishwashers earlier this century with no problems. This one requires more skill to install than you would expect. After reading Consumer Reports, I felt this model should perform well for many years.

I had read some good and unsure reviews of the dishwasher mainly because of not having a heating element, but I must tell you i was very suprised! Its quiet its efficient its great. each setting operates just like you would expect it to. The drying is amazing. We no water spots and nothing has ever been rewashed due to the machine. This is a great product.
