New brand to me
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had not heard of Bosch appliances until I researched on Consumer report for a new dishwasher. It seems to do everything I needed without too many bells and whistles. Its a beautiful machine and the racks are fine for the various dishes. I do like the little foldable grids that can hold plastic spoons and other small items. The 3rd upper shelf is good if I could remember to check it! The one major surprise that was not mentioned anywhere was the rinse aid requirement. We have a water softener so rinse aids are no longer an issue with the dishes. The man installing the dishwasher walked me through the control panel and then mentioned that the container for a rinse aid needed to be full in order for the machine to dry the dishes! WHAT?! So for the internal sensors to cue the drying cycle I have to keep rinse gel in the container. That is not an acceptable extra. Other than that I would say it cleans fairly well--not amazingly. The dry cycle is such that it does not melt the plastics placed on the lower rack, so that is nice. Not sure I would buy it again just based on the drying requirement having already paid a lot for the machine that addition seems to be unncessary.

Quietest dishwasher ever!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this dishwasher. It does everything promised- cleans well and does it quietly! However, the installation service that Best Buy provided was a nightmare. They took weeks longer than promised and had several appointments that they just didn't show up for.

Top of the heap
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great choice only if you like a super quiet dishwasher that really gets your dishes clean... the easy to get to food trap is a bonus, along with the utensil top rack to maximize space. Much bigger inside dimensions than our previous older model, with an all interior stainless finish...

Love this dishwasher!!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an awesome dishwasher!! You can’t tell it’s running as it is super quiet!!!you can be standing right by the dishwasher and you won’t hear it! It cleans even baked on casserole dishes. Just scrape off food, no need to pre-rinse before putting dishes in the washer. I highly recommend this Bosch 300 series dishwasher!

Love this dishwasher! So quiet!
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Went from a Samsung that did a terrible job to this quiet Bosch which does an amazing job. When you start and it gets going, honestly its hard to know its running. It does an amazing job and does require Finish Jet Dry, and the results are clean, sparkling glasses. Incredibly happy with this purchase!

Great upgraded dishwaser
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My 20+ year old dishwasher finally gave out. Without any advance searching I headed over to Best Buy and was very pleased to be guided thru the purchase of this product that both met my price requirements and also had features that were far superior than what I had with prior dishwasher. Very quiet compared to what I had before and also has a nice design for maximizing capacity of dishes.

One year old and so far pretty good machine.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.THIS PRODUCT IS GOOD SO FAR, BUT AFTER ABOUT A YEAR IS STARTING TO BREAK DOWN A LITTLE. The clips on the dishracks that make some parts of the rack movable to allow for different sizes of items to be washed and alternative loading patterns are breaking down and do not hold the racks in position properly any longer. We have to hold the movable parts of the racks in place with elastic bands from broccoli bunches etc. Minor defects are that the utensils basket has fairly large holes in the bottom. It's okay for western knives and forks, but each load my wife, who is Korean, has to wash lots of thin steel Korean chopsticks which slip right through the holes at the bottom of the utensil basket. We had to substitute a plastic pencil holder or some such with smaller holes to be able to machine wash the chopsticks. Other than this, the machine is extremely quiet, and seems to wash the dishes well on 60 minute "Quickwash" as well as the longer regular wash. It is only about a year old, but so far we'd buy it again, but wish the rack clips were more reliable, and that the utensil basket had offered an optional-to-use insert with smaller holes for chopsticks. The reason I am giving it four instead of five stars is that I have a concern, based largely on the trouble with the rack clips, that it may break down and have to be replaced fairly quickly, which leads to a certain constant anxiety about the appliance which is unpleasant. If it doesn't degrade further, then is is four and a half or even five stars in terms of satisfaction, but the anxiety detracts from being able to fully relax and so to speak, forget about it which would be the ideal.

Works great
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The dishwasher is extremely quiet and cleans very well. Only complaint is that it doesn't turn off when it's done. I haven't figured out how to change the settings.

Exceeded expectations
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the nicest dishwasher I've ever owned. It's so quiet I wasn't sure it was actually running at first. Gets dishes super clean, it's easy to use, and the third shelf rack is super handy.

Works great, very quiet
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sales person warned me that Bosch washers don't have a heating coil for drying, so my dishes might be a little wet at the end of the cycle. I did not find that to be the case. The dishes, even plastic ware, are dry. I started with the automatic setting, and it works great, so I haven't tried other settings. I expect to try the "half load" option, but I haven't had a chance yet. Other plus points: The upper (actually middle) rack can be raised to allow for taller items in the bottom. I was able to wash a cutting board that did not fit in my previous washer. The washer is so quiet you can hardly hear it even when in the kitchen. The water draining is noticeable, but is still not very loud.

So Quiet! And Dishes Are CLEAN!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this based on reviews of the machine. It's SOOOO quiet and the machine is dry inside by using the Sanitize and extra dry options. Also, leave the washer closed for hours after washing. We wash at night (it's very quiet, you won't even know it's running) and then put the dishes away in the am. Works great and the inside is dry!!! (and dishes are SOOO clean!

Top of the line
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We’re very pleased with the new Bosch dishwasher. It’s efficient, cleans dishes very well without the need for prewashing and operates very quietly. The top rack for knives and longer stirring spoons, etc. is a welcomed addition. So, this is a very fine purchase and I’d gladly recommend this appliance.

Bosch Dishwasher
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very silent dishwasher. Looks cool and has flexible / customizable trays. The third row is super useful. The drying quality could be better.

Closest Dishwasher to Perfect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our small (6-7 person) office has had 3 dishwashers in 13 years. It gets less use than it would have in a 5-member family because it's only run once a day about 4 days a week (and not at all on weekends.) So I guess the first two we had weren't very good. But I've waited 4 months to review this Bosch just to make sure I knew the unit. THIS THING IS AMAZING!! Whoever designed this machine hit it outta the park!! EVERY single complaint I had about the old machines or dream I had for a new one has been addressed, fixed, corrected, implemented!! It has so many cool design features that it's not even funny! [Plate racks that let you adjust for the number and thickness of the dishes you want to wash / upper pull-out basket has rows on both sides for glasses and cups--with each side's row of a slightly different width / a fold-down "holder" for stemmed wine glasses / Easy "Drop-Down" adjustment on the upper pull-out basket if you need more room up top and less height on the bottom/ Removable utensil baskets with separate "fold back" covers / Utensil covers with "holes" of varying sizes to accommodate knives and forks WITH LARGER WIDTH HANDLES / Utensil baskets of varying DEPTHS (so smaller spoons don't fall down the rabbit hole and disappear!) / A REMOVABLE-WASHABLE FOOD FILTER/STRAINER ON THE FLOOR OF THE DISHWASHER :-O / And a bonus pull-out "drawer" at the top especially for longer knives and utensils! It has an actual HEATER to help dry the dishes, but because of that, we can now adjust the washing and drying cycles to something shorter than A DAY AND A HALF!! (Seriously...shortest cycle on the dishwasher before this one was over 3 hours because it had no heating element. It was counting on the residual heat from the wash water to "dry" the dishes---which rarely actually happened. But best of all, it actually cleans the dishes! And it does so with hardly any noise! (Disclaimer: we DO make it a practice to pre-rinse, but we did that before and there would STILL be gunk with both of the old dishwashers.) My only beef is that we still have water left over in the wells of any concave bottom cups or mugs we wash. But with so much else going for it, I can live with that!!] -- This Bosch wasn't the Top-of-the-line, price-wise, but it sure behaves like it!! I'd happily recommend the Bosch 300 Series dishwasher to anyone wanting a good-looking, quiet, flexible, fully-featured, efficient dishwasher for their home or small office. Both thumbs enthusiastically WAY UP!!

Awesome dishwasher
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a fantastic dishwasher. So quiet. Love the rinse option, since we are just a family of 2 the dishes sit in the dishwasher for several days before it is full. The rinse cycle lets us rinse the dishes in between loads to keep it from getting to stinky and awful. It washes the dishes very well, have not found one dish that had to be re-washed.
