This Bosche dishwasher is very quiet in the normal wash mode. On the fast, 1-hour wash it’s significantly louder. It seems luke a quality machine. I do wish I’d purchased the unit with the hidden controls on top of the door instead of the front face. It still looks very nice and the matte black color is very nice - it’s almost like black stainless for less $.

Love this dishwasher. It's very quiet, and cleans really well. Our old dishwasher had "heated dry" (a heating element to dry the dishes), but we never used it, so we don't miss it on this model. We're careful to always have rinse-aid, and we find the dishes are quite dry, aside from some plastic items, and the dished bottoms of upside-down mugs. We never had any food residue on the dishes or silverware. We weren't specifically looking for the upper silverware rack feature, but find we really like it, and using it creates more room in the bottom rack. Our only complaint is that if you open the dishwasher while it's set for delayed start, you must remember to press "start" again to make it continue it's countdown. We didn't have to do this on our old dishwasher, and so have forgotten once or twice and found later the dishwasher didn't run as expected.

We purchased this dishwasher for two primary reasons 1. The height. We had an issue with a tile floor which was installed and needed a shorter dishwasher. 2. We have hard water and this dishwasher has a compartment to add salt to help with the hard water. It cleans the dishes so much better. This was purchased for a vacation rental. It is easy to operate.

You can barely tell its running which is great. Cleans very well with no issues so far.
