A family's dream machine

This one is amazing! My favorite feature is the 'custom cycle' where it asked us our priorities (dryness, sanitation, speed, efficiency, etc.) and created a custom cycle accordingly. Amazing machine and app!

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought the 500 initially and it did not dry well, stopped auto opening at the end of the cycle (which only marginally helped the drying) and continually had the middle rack handle falling off so I took advantage of the return policy and exchanged for the 800. It is fantastic. Don't hesitate to buy this

Posted .Hi Nino9096, thanks for your review. We are sorry to hear you are not getting the best drying results from this dishwasher model. Here are some tips that should help: 1. Use Finish® Jet Dry® rinse aid to help dishes dry faster. *This doesn't have to be added for each cycle, you fill the reservoir then the dishwasher will indicate when the reservoir is empty and needs to be refilled.* 2. For everyday use, we recommend Auto Cycle, which is best for mixed loads of dishes with varying amounts of food soil. 3. Select special drying options like "Sanitize and Extra Dry". Sanitize operates at a higher temperature to help eliminate bacteria and enhance drying results. 4. When unloading clean dishes, pull out lower racks first to avoid dripping water from the upper rack. If these tips do not help improve drying, please contact our Customer Support team at 1-800-944-2904 for additional assistance. Thank you.
Best Dishwasher Ever

Took a little time to get used to the newly designed controls and the Home app but once I'd read the relevant material it worked (and continues to work) as intended Dishes come out clean and sparkling

Little getting used to different style racks from our old one but didn’t take long to figure out how this one is more efficient.

We have two in our home and they lasted for 20 years with no repairs. Even though they are more expensive than the competition they are actually cheaper with longevity and very few repair costs.

It ran at lease 20 loads over 2 days and did an a job. So quiet u have to open it to make sure it’s running.

The feature where's it opens to let out the steam after the cycle ends greatlyl improves the drying. Also the washer has a place where the door can stay slightly open. This keeps the dirty dishes from smelling when they sit in the washer for a long time. LOVE the speed60 setting.

Installer not able to turn off water. Said only a plumber could do that. We ended up having to paying$375 to a plumber for what was included in the dishwasher purchase.

The features are great and I appreciate the quietness. The functions are exactly how things are and are expected. Great purchase and I wouldn't mind repurchasing this brand.

Functions well and I like the auto-open feature but again, LG has it more finessed.

The third rack is nice for silverware. Door pops open nicely and the dishes are dry. It does pretty well with plastic. The touch pad buttons can be a bit quirky in my opinion but I'm getting used to them.

The handle on the middle drawer takes up to much space and does not provide much functionality. Also beware that you need an outlet for this to work.
