Very happy to replace my Frigidaire with this Bosch dishwasher. Works great!

Perfect fit and very little noise for this money saving dishwasher

Hearing great things about Bosch 500 dishwashers, I bought this on Dec 1st. It was delivered yesterday afternoon (Dec 11). I turned it on today morning (Dec 12) to clean dishes for the first time, and used their provided soap pods (Finish brand). This washing machine turned out to be defective, and started leaking slowly. I chatted with customer service multiple times for an exchange+installation date; they were clueless and had no idea about the rescheduled date/time. They kept replying with irrelevant scripted replies. I called the 800-433-5778 number to schedule an exchange for a working non-defective dishwasher and was told to call back in 48 hours. It shouldn't be this hard to take care of customers who have got defective items, post-purchase. I will update this review based on how this turns out. But, right now, I am very disappointed at getting a defective dishwasher for a premium price, and the shoddy customer service from Best Buy!

I never write reviews but had to on this one. I purchased the washer a few months ago based on the great reviews and quietness but although it is very quiet it has a bad design for fitting the dishes plus it is horrible with light stuck on food especially on utensils. Not sure why others have recommended this washer unless mine is defective but I do not recommend it at all. I had a GE Cafe series before, I should have replaced with same one I had, it would have been less expensive.

This dishwasher is leaving my glasses and silverware with a lot of soap residue. It's brand new! I am even using a Rinse Aid to try and help....nope

I bought this dishwasher on recommendation from a family member and have been happy with it in the nearly months that I've had it. This is an excellent, efficient, and quiet dishwasher. It's build quality is superb and every part feels premium. I installed it myself with very little difficulty because the instructions were clear and easy to follow. It is so much more efficient (both in time and water usage) than my previous ~12 year old dishwasher. The various cleaning cycles are great, the "auto air" feature ensures that dishes are dry, and the red "running" light that illuminates a small spot on the floor is very useful.

Everything works exactly as expected, and this is by far the quietest dishwasher I’ve ever owned. I literally have to put my ear right next to it to hear it running. The only downside is the smart features. I just can’t get them to work. I haven’t been able to connect it to my phone using Bosch’s Home Connect app; it gives me an error every time I try. It wouldn’t be a big issue, except there’s one setting that can only be configured through the app, which makes it a bit frustrating.

So far so good, 3rd row is nice, auto opening the door o help air dry is cool feature. Red light dot is nice feature

I really love this Bosch model. I didn't give it a full 5 because I think selecting the settings is a bit confusing and it came with very little instructions. Other than that, I like it. I think they have done a wonderful job with the interior design. I can accommodate more plates and they stay in place. The machine does a thorough job cleaning everything. I like that the filter is easy to remove to clean, It doesn't have a heating element and I actually appreciate that because the circulation system that it has works well and my dishes are completely dried unlike other reviews I have read.

Over the last 19 years, we have owned three other dishwashers. I hated them. I thought they merely suggested the dishes get clean. I began to feel all dishwasher commercials were an absolute fraud. This dishwasher cleans dishes. IT WORKS. We rinse hardened residue and scrape a lot of food off, and sometimes we have to hand wash dishes. However, most dishes come out clean. Yay!

Excellent appliance. With rinse aid does a very good job of drying even plastic. The top cutlery drawer seems far away from the jets but does get enough water to clean. Only issue is that remote start is required to use features such as delay start or different cycle types.

This product is so close to being good. It's quiet, it cleans well, it looks sharp. But two things hold it back: loading and operation. A key goal of product design is that the product should be simple for the end user. Whoever designed the layout in Bosch dishwashers should be fired. The prongs are angled so steeply that they make it impossible for certain dishes to fit and create a large amount of wasted space. I can fit maybe half of what I used to fit in my whirlpool dishwasher, in the same amount of space. The other pain is that there is no way to cancel a cycle once it has started, and it starts very easily with the brush of a hand. You can pause a cycle, but if say you forgot to select the autodry option, or you wanted a shorter run, or not as hot, too bad! It absolutely has to go through that entire cycle. Hitting reset does nothing but reset that specific wash you've started. At this price point I can't recommend it to anybody when there are so many products with less aggravation. In the photos: I used to fit four black dinner bowls easily, now I have to use this wonky setup to fit two bowls max, when these are our main plates. You can also see how much wasted space exists when the prongs block out all that area against the front of the tray.

Very quiet, love that there is a light the shines on the flor when the dishwasher is on. Also the app is great, lets you know when the cycle is done, when it needs to be cleaned, etc. Also has helpful things like recipes for dinners. I never think the dry cycle is very good on any dishwasher.

I've owned a Bosch dishwasher before and loved it! This one is super quiet, cleans great and energy efficient. Saved about $250 by buying a display model. Only downside is that I had to purchase the electrical connector and water hose separately, but that was not a "deal breaker". Highly recommend!

It’s great. Well thought of racks, lovely and very functional.

We love this dishwasher. We live in an area that has hard water and don't have a water softener. We had glasses and cups that had hard water stains on them. One wash in this and they were gone! The plastic cups looked brand new! The third rack is very convenient, we put most of the flatware there. It's very quiet too.

I am fairly happy with my purchase and extremely happy with the install team. They removed my old unit and did a great job installing. This washer is extremely quiet. My only complaint is I specifically wanted a dishwasher that dries well, particularly plastic, and this is terrible at drying plastic. Worse than my broken 20 yr old dishwasher. The salesman misspoke about several features like telling me the dishwasher opens on its own to let out steam and then seals back up to finish drying. It opens at the end of a cycle if you select auto dry but that is at the end and does not reseal or continue further. Also, I wish I hadn’t let them fill the rinse aid compartment with the free sample of Finish. It leaves a taste and odor on dishes.

Love the Bosch 500 Series 24" top control dishwasher. Does a great job and very quiet. The service from Best Buy was excellent.
