Wow. Replaced a Viking, almost bought a Miele, and glad I got this. First, it's like crazy silent. No idea it's running standing right in front of it. 2nd, the middle rack easily moves up so our huge plates easily fit below. 3rd, the auto pop open at end leaves dishes really dry (a different world from the Viking). The 1 hour cycle works for almost everything, too. We love it. Also the kitchen feels bigger without a towel bar sticking out. After all, we never used the towel bar cause the towel would fall off opening and closing. Two things to note: First, if you're getting water in the bottom, check your connection to your disposal/sink -- the tube has to go up and then down to the disposal. I installed it myself, and this little change fixed it. Second, be wary of open box. Ours was listed as Acceptable. It was heavily wrapped so we couldn't check it at the store, but it has a large chip on the front; had we seen it, I would not have bought it. It was also missing the power cord. (Best Buy included a new direct line cord, but we needed normal plug in power cord, so I had to order one.) It was awesome the same the melting clips, so I had order those, too.

Pros Runs as quiet as they say it does. Gets everything extremely clean and rinses well Cons Third rack is a great feature but makes it impossible to load larger plates and taller glasses. We had to take it out. There is only so much height to work with in a dishwasher. It's removable so no points off. Dish arrangement takes some getting use to. We still feel like we're not fitting in as much as our previous dishwasher because of the lower drawer arrangement

Sleek design, easy to use, and much quieter than I was anticipating. I love the speed wash option as well as the third rack for silverware and baby bottle accessories.

The only reason this gets 4 stars instead of 5 is the first dishwasher delivered didn't work. Best Buy took care of the problem ASAP and had a new unit installed and working perfect. This unit is quiet, attractive and really does a good job cleaning. Highly recommended.

Finally, my dishes are getting cleaned spotless! The style of loading is a bit of a learning curve. Love how quiet it is.

First dishwasher I've ever owned. Thought it would sound like my folks' dishwasher, which was fairly loud, even though my new Bosch was advertised as quiet. It was so quiet I had to put my ear to it to hear it! Easy to use and cleans perfectly.

Generally, I think Bosch makes a good dishwasher. It is reliable. I’ve had one before. Nice features on this model include the third rack, Auto Air, and the red indicator button that shines on the floor when the dishwasher is operating. Negative features include the fact that the “clean” indicator lights up for 2 seconds, then defaults to a blinking light indicating the time it will take for the next cycle. You have to manually hit the “off” button after the dishwasher has run, or it will keep blinking. This is how it was made to operate. I know this because I had a Bosch serviceman out. I thought the programming was broken. It was not. Also, from the first use, the clean dishes smelled sour. I think this is because there is no heated dry cycle. I had this happen with my previous Bosch, but not with the Kitchen Aid I just replaced.

The flexible racks are a great innovation since my last DW (that served acceptably for 20 years). My Bosch 500 is quiet, performs its cleaning tasks well, and was available & affordable when most Covid-19 era models were not.

By far the most quietest dishwasher I have ever owned. It works flawlessly and my dishes are very clean. I appreciate the top rack where I lay long spoons, spatulas and sometimes silverware. I definitely can load more dishes in this washer than the previous ones that I've owned. This model has the hidden control buttons on top so it gives the appearance a much cleaner look and easy to wipe down and clean without hitting protruding buttons. I would recommend Bosch and I'm believer in you get what you pay for.

Very quiet dishwasher. The dishes are really clean, no more rinsing before putting the dishes in the dishwasher!

Dishes come out cleaner than any of the several other dishwashers we have owned. The top tray is especially handy.

Nice and quiet, Racks seem a little flimsy when alot of weight on them. Cleans well.

Love our new dishwasher. You can't hear it running. It has the three racks and the auto air feature which my husband wanted. Only complaint is that the bottom rack is hard to pull out and push back in. Best buy installation team was amazing.

Loving this dishwasher. It's so quiet and the dishes sparkle ! The auto air works perfectly to dry dishes. The third rack is great for utensils and small items. Best Buy did the installation and they were great !!
