Good dishwasher, cleans and dries well, is very quiet, pretty solid build quality

I've read many people's complaints about the weird smell with all Bosch dishwashers, and although I have noticed the smell (it's like creosote almost, and from what I hear there is a creosote-like substance that's used to insulate it for noise), it's very faint and keeps getting more faint every time we run it (we've had it for exactly a month yesterday). Keep in mind that I'm comparing its performance to that of my Whirlpool that was 27 years old, but I love this machine. It is very quiet, it cleans everything (including peanut butter dried on spoons and avocado, which I previously had to scrub off before I put in my old dishwasher). There are some settings I needed to change (all easily done with directions from the manual), like it wasn't drying enough before I changed the drying setting to dry for longer, and I didn't want it to beep every time I touched a button, so I changed that too. Otherwise, it's been a great machine, and if you go on Consumer Reports, almost all of the top-rated dishwashers are Bosch. We run it every single day, so I wanted something that was going to work for a long time, and actually clean my dishes, so it was worth the extra expense over a cheapo!

This Bosch dishwasher is so very quiet, so efficient, and so great to have for getting clean & sanitized dishes...why did I wait so long to get one??? This is an investment that reaps benefits immediately! We needed to find a very quiet machine. Our open concept home is compact and smaller than ideal so to be able to run it in “such quiet mode with good capacity” has bridged the gap & changed house dynamics! Thanks!

been great so far. love the utensil rack. the off set prongs to load the dish washer is nice. very quiet and can barely tell it’s on even when trying to figure out if it’s on.

Simple DIY installation. Bosch quality evident throughout the unit and the noise level is phenomenal. Cleans great with dry dishes each cycle. The only complaints are that the stainless steel is a fingerprint magnet, and it takes a long time per auto cycle (over 2 hours) so plan accordingly if you need items cleaned quickly.

I really am happy with our new Bosch so far, however I didn't understand exactly how it worked initially, as I was at work when the install took place and didn't hear and see the quick demonstration that was given and my sister in law really didn't pay attention. She just remembered you need to hit 4 different buttons. So, anyway I didn't realize that if you re open the dishwasher after you press START for more than a few seconds that you need to press the RESET button for 3 seconds and then re enter your wash choices again. Now that we figured that out, we are fine. My husband isn't a fan of the top silverware rack, because he doesn't have the patience to place each item into its place, but honestly I'm fine with it. It's nice to know that each piece of silverware is separated from each other and is getting cleaned properly. I like that it offers a Half Wash cycle! I feel like I don't need to wait another day to fill the washer up before running a wash cycle! I LOVE how quiet this dishwasher is! I no longer need to set the delay feature until bedtime, however there is one on here, in case someone wants it. Overall, I am One Happy Customer!

It's amazing how quiet this dishwasher is, and we love the 3rd rack. Auto-air functionality also helps completely dry clean dishes. It also has a stylish look- love this high-end dishwasher!!!

My old dishwasher could be heard a mile away. Every time I time turn on the new Bosch dishwasher, I’m amazed at how quiet it runs. The dishes come out clean and I love the third adjustable rack!

This dishwasher was highly touted in reviews as one of the best you can buy. So, when Best Buy had a free installation promotion we decided to buy. It is obviously good quality and has nice features such as adjustable racks, several cycles and for the most part fairly quiet. My only downside is I thought the dishes would be dryer but that could be part of my not knowing the best settings for drying. Overall we are pleased with the purchase and very pleased with the Geek Squad installation. My advice is be sure to ask for a Geek Squad install.
