Super quiet. Does an excellent job cleaning dishes. The third rack at the top for silverware works out very nicely. Geek Squad did an excellent job removing the old unit and installing the new one. Very courteous and addressed all the issues we raised politely and efficiently.

I like the dishwasher in general. It is harder to place items on top shelf as I could with my older model due to very top third rack which does not seem helpful. I also miss being able to see how much time is left for the cycle. Dishwasher looks good and cleans reasonably well.

It's a good thing they have the red light that shines on the floor to let you know it's washing. This dishwasher is so quiet, you barely hear it operating from across the kitchen. Also, the sales associate was very helpful in assisting us with our selection. The Bosch we wanted was out of stock and he upgraded us to a better model at no additional cost. Plus, Bosch was having a "free installation" promotion with any purchase. Also, with my Best Buy membership, I received free delivery and free removal of my old dishwasher.

I have never owned a Bosch dishwasher until now and I absolutely love it. It drys great, extremely quiet, and the special features are awesome!

was waiting for disposal to install, but after several delays on its delivery, put it in dishwasher only over the weekend. Cleans very well and is extremely quiet. Installation was easier than learning how to use it (lol). read manual carefully, it does tell you every thing. Very happy with purchase.

With our old dishwasher, we would have to plan to run it when we were out of the house because it was just so loud. We finally splurged and upgraded to what we heard was the best brand on the market and now I am a believer! It is so quiet, we can run it at any time and barely here it. The inside design was much more intuitive than our old, cheap dishwasher so it can hold so much more. Would highly recommend this dishwasher!

Based on reviews we had read, we got our hearts set on getting a Bosch dishwasher to replace our old one, that stopped working Thanksgiving weekend. We quickly found out that Bosch is being heavily affected by the supply chain shortages, and that they were nowhere to be found. I had been checking websites for availability for about 6 week's when we were pleasantly surprised that Best Buy would be able to deliver this Bosch 500 within a few days. So far, this machine is everything we had expected from the reviews we read. It cleans great, and the drying is a big improvement over our old machine, which was about ten years old when it stopped working. The one area that exceeds expectation is how quiet it is. You actually need to get your ears down near the machine to hear it while it runs. although these machines cost 200-300 more than some of the more popular brands, we feel it waws worth the cost and worth waiting out the shortage of supply.

This dishwasher works very well. My dishes are super clean, and there almost no sound. The red light reminds me that it’s on.

Great upgrade from old dishwasher and better than the Acenta (Series 100) I also have. The top shelf for utensils and cutlery is more useful than expected. Super quiet - don’t even know it’s running until the drain cycle comes on! Superior cleaning too.

It’s very QUIET and cleans great. Had some trouble with installation, but once it was installed properly it worked great.

We use our dishwasher daily and so far this dishwasher is super quiet and gets the dishes clean. It was more than I expected.

Pros: Cleans very well. Supposed Bosch quality. Good space to put pots and pans. Plenty of space on the 3rd rack, so you can take out the silverware rack from the bottom rack to make more space. The soap container is up on the door large dishes don't mess it up. Cons: Longer cycles than some other dishwashers. More energy consumption than similar competition. Big silverware basket which takes a lot of space on the bottom rack. Since we were adding another dishwasher along with our GE PDT775SYNFS which we have used for more than a year, we've had good experience to compare. The GE is unmatched for putting stuff in it. This Bosch is close once you take the silverware basket out. Bosch is ranked # 1 by consumer reports and others for quality, so I am keeping this one even though the controls are Archaic. Real buttons instead of the touch controls on so many other dishwashers. But you know it works just as well, just doesn't look nice these days.

I was looking for the Bosch 300 but could not find it so upgraded to the 500. Very happy that we did. It is very quiet and does a great job. Love the 3rd shelf but seem to like using it for the larger utensils instead of silverware. Use the auto cycle which takes 3 hours but it works well.

First off…I expected it to be much quieter than it is. My 10 year old dishwasher was quieter. But this Bosch does a great job cleaning. Still learning how to adjust the racks. Love that when the cycle is complete, the door pops open and cools the dishes. Hoping I have good luck with this. My first Bosch.

This dishwasher is absolutely silent and really does the job. And you don’t have to pre rinse! Looks sleek too.

They aren't kidding when they say this dishwasher is quiet! Extremely efficient and my dishes never looked better.

I should have researched more / read more reviews before buying. This replaced a Samsung something or other (it had a stainless tub, popped the door open too at the end of the cycle, and was rated 48 dBa). The samsung was quieter ... despite being rated as slightly louder. Ok, weird. But the tines. Sheesh. Bosch must have designed / tested this to only load 1 with with one specific set of dishes/glasses. And if you deviate 1% - sorry. They are awful. I can't stress it enough. In 2008, at our old house, we bought a Bosch and it was great - quieter and good layout of the tines. Even a family members solidly midrange Whirlpool (plastic tub, etc) isn't that much louder and has normal tines. I think I'd have preferred that one over this overpriced monster. Sigh.
