This dish washer is significantly better than the GE that we had. It uses less water and energy while the dishes comes out equally clean. It’s so quiet that we couldn’t tell it’s on. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a dishwasher.

My new Bosch 500 Series dishwasher has been such a comfort to me. First of all, it definitely lives up to its reputation for being so quiet you wonder if it's even running. So peaceful. The tray at the very top has individual horizontal slots for silverware and also wider areas for longer utensils. For someone who has a bad back/neck it makes for easy retrieval. On the bottom level, the two additional silverware baskets can be removed to provide more space for dishes/pots which I intend to take advantage of since I am a one-person household. Last but not least, I was able to get it installed in 2 months by Best Buy rather than 6 months by other stores. The reputation of Bosch equates to me I have purchased a long-lasting maintenance free dishwasher,

After researching assiduously, finally chose the bosch 500. After 4 months, I can still say this is an excellent machine, cleans powerfully— no more “prewashing” dishes by hand before loading! I appreciate the sanitize option, too. This machine is so quiet, I have to keep checking the red light to make sure it’s on. Impressed by the compact interior, too. Holds more dish ware than my 15 yo kenmore which officially died a year before I purchased the Bosch. I’d read conflicting reports about the Bosch brand, but Consumer Reports and other product rating venues online recommended this model over other brands in terms of quietness, reliability and cleaning power. I use a lot less water. Air-dry option is great as well and I’m glad I decided to make the purchase. BTW Best Buy personnel and contractors made ordering, scheduling of installation and haul away simple and painless.

We replaced a 20 years old Bosch DW with this new Bosch DW. Great piece! Easy install and leveling access from the front! It’s so quiet when it first started we couldn’t hear a thing. I wasn’t sure if it’s even running! Seriously tho very nice dishwasher.

Love this dishwasher!!! I wanted a dishwasher that had a nice clean look without the buttons showing. We had three locations in our new home for a dishwasher and had planned on different Bosch models throughout, but since this was the only one available at the time, went with three of this model. I'm glad it worked out that way! The dishwasher is so quiet and gets my dishes SO CLEAN!!!

I really like the Bosch dishwasher. Very quiet when running the cycle. I just purchased this item.

You can hardly hear this is on--you need to look for a light on the floor. It doesn't seem very load friendly--can't put as much in. It replaced a Samsung, which seemed to have had a lot more space. Love the three shelves and the ease in cleaning out the filter. Learning curve.

I’m amazed at how quiet this dishwasher is! Very nice to run it after dinner and be able to hear the tv. The type of drying system it uses is different so at first we thought it wasn’t drying dishes properly. We use the sanitize setting and rinse aid to assist and also open the door of it after it finishes the full cycle. Still some droplets in plastic containers but everything else dries fine.

I kept back a star bcz there are a few things I'd change. And, the performance is still excellent. Cant beat it for quiet operation. Tons more space and love the third rack for small, items, lids spatulas etc. Really nice only a month in.

I m not please with the installation of my dishwasher. Best Buy use contract service that gave me a bad experience. First of all, they were rude, talk negatively about my location, and told me i was not getting a fisher today. His attitude was so terrible therefore I asked him to leave my him. I reported him to Best Buy. I then had to hire another service to install my dishwasher.

Dishwasher has a bit of a smell to it, I thought it might eventually go away but we've had it for a month and the smell is still there. It also doesn't dry the dishes as well as our previous Bosch.
