It also doesn't dry the dishes as well as our previous Bosch.

Here are some tips that may help resolve the issue: 1) Use a tablet/pod type detergent or a loose powder. We recommend and use Finish® detergent. 2) Clean the filter regularly. The amount of cleaning will vary based on the actual dishwasher usage. (Please see your Use & Care manual for more information and instructions to clean the filter). 3) If you are not using the dishwasher regularly yet loading it with dirty dishware, you may experience odors due to the sealed system design. To avoid this, run the dishwasher more frequently. 4) Run a monthly dishwasher cleaner. 5) Ensure the drain hose is properly installed and not clogged, kinked, or blocked. To maximize drying performance, select the AutoAir® option. This will automatically open the door at the end of the cycle to let moisture escape and fresh air in for drier dishes. Absolutely love how quiet it is but I also enjoy the amount of space there is for multiple things to be washed. The 3rd row for silverware and utensils is definitely an added bonus.

The door is a bit stiff but we are careful opening and closing as the controls are on the top of the door!

Installed correctly taking my time in a couple hours. Also easy seamless pick up at distribution center was great, especially during these current conditions.

The DW does a great job cleaning the dishes. Though I have to really rinse off the knives really well or the food sticks to it. ... VERY quiet - which I really love.

It has a variety of wash cycles including a speed wash. It comes with a big price tag but it is worth every penny!

All of the research we did was very worthwhile. We cannot hear it running and at the end of the cycle everything looks brand new. We highly recommend this make and model.

Was not getting the dishes clean, etc. I got online to start doing my homework on purchasing a new dishwasher, and after reading for about 2 hours, I decided on the Bosch 500. I will tell you to read the reviews, because they are so true! It is so quiet, it's a good thing it has that red light on the floor when it's running, or you wouldn't know it's on. My dishes come out so clean, and some other reviewers complained about the dishes not being dry, but mine are not that way. Had BB install it, and he did a great job. I really love my new dishwasher!!
