But it didn't come with the more detailed manual and, when I requested it, they said they don't have a hard copy and sent it by email. That means that, when I wanted to change a control, I had to go to the trouble of copying the lengthy directions instead of being able to bring the manual to the dishwasher and make the changes more easily.
I would recommend this to a friend If you like hand drying your dishes.

There is condensation that happens on the dishes if you do not unload immediately. Other models are better at this than the 500 series, I would get the Ascenta model and its cheaper or spend more get the 800 series with a super dry effect.

Use Finish® JetDry® rinse aid to help dishes dry faster. 2. For everyday use, we recommend Auto Cycle, which is best for mixed loads of dishes with varying amounts of food soil. 3. Select special drying options like "Sanitize and Extra Dry". Sanitize operates at a higher temperature to help eliminate bacteria and enhance drying results. 4. When unloading clean dishes, pull out lower racks first to avoid dripping water from the upper rack. We have an older one at our old house and wanted this for our new home. It is quiet, reliable and efficient. The best feature is that Best Buy was able to get it! I had been working with other company (HD) who claimed to have it but kept postponing delivery. Best Buy had trouble finding it last spring, but there it was. Easy Peasey.

It took me a while to figure out how to start it but after that no problems. It's very quite, which i like and I like the extra silverware basket at the top and all the features to choose from for cleaning. I also like the red light on the floor to let you know it's running. Since it's so quite. My dishes come out cleaner now.

My Experience with Bosch & Best Buys Both 5 Stars.

My 2 most important issues are the overall cleanliness and spotless of dishes, glasses, pots and pans. My 2nd concern is noise and with the Bosch you almost can't tell it's on. I would also like to give a shout out to my installers who were professional and got the job done quickly.

I think I actually have more space, but it's laid out very differently from my old Kenmore dishwasher. I love the top rack for serving pieces that used to take up space in the cups & glasses section. The thing I'm not thrilled with is when I want to reset the washing cycle - that's still tricky.

However the manual (which was only available online) was not at all helpful and there were basic items that were not at all intuitive.
