It took me a while to figure out how to start it but after that no problems. It's very quite, which i like and I like the extra silverware basket at the top and all the features to choose from for cleaning. I also like the red light on the floor to let you know it's running. Since it's so quite. My dishes come out cleaner now.
I would recommend this to a friend If you like hand drying your dishes.

There is condensation that happens on the dishes if you do not unload immediately. Other models are better at this than the 500 series, I would get the Ascenta model and its cheaper or spend more get the 800 series with a super dry effect.

Use Finish® JetDry® rinse aid to help dishes dry faster. 2. For everyday use, we recommend Auto Cycle, which is best for mixed loads of dishes with varying amounts of food soil. 3. Select special drying options like "Sanitize and Extra Dry". Sanitize operates at a higher temperature to help eliminate bacteria and enhance drying results. 4. When unloading clean dishes, pull out lower racks first to avoid dripping water from the upper rack. Don’t buy a Bosch dishwasher!!!

I have nothing but problems with this inferior product. I’ve had a serviceman out numerous times, the last time he replaced all the electronics. Pathetic for a new dishwasher. It is now not working again and Bosch wants to charge $100 to come out and $200 an hour for repairs, not including parts. I just want this horrible product out of my house and a refund so I can buy something that works.

My 2 most important issues are the overall cleanliness and spotless of dishes, glasses, pots and pans. My 2nd concern is noise and with the Bosch you almost can't tell it's on. I would also like to give a shout out to my installers who were professional and got the job done quickly.

I think I actually have more space, but it's laid out very differently from my old Kenmore dishwasher. I love the top rack for serving pieces that used to take up space in the cups & glasses section. The thing I'm not thrilled with is when I want to reset the washing cycle - that's still tricky.
