We’ve gone through two (!) dishwashers in the past seven years. No we don’t have a large family, and no we don’t misuse appliances. The first, a GE profile which never cleaned well, was noisy and had multiple repairs and quit working at year 3 so we thought a Samsung would be a more reliable option. Although it worked fine for four years when it failed it failed big time. The seal and motor went at once. So we decided to go for broke and get the model we had wanted all along: the Bosch. We’ve only had it for a month so there’s no telling how long it will last but so far we are extremely happy. It is so quiet that if it weren’t for the red light (a small circle) shining on the floor we wouldn’t know it was working. We love (did I say love?) the three racks! No more bending down to find the long handled spoon at the bottom of the dishwasher. Even plates fit on the second rack making emptying a pleasure. We like being able to use the half load feature and the 60 minute speed cycle. We may have spent more on this one, but we are super happy with our choice.

I just got this dishwasher a few weeks ago after my 2005 model Whirlpool Gold dishwasher died suddenly. This dishwasher cleans so well. You really don’t need to rinse the dishes before placing them in the dishwasher. The dishes, glasses, silverware and plastics all come out sparkling clean. I love how quiet it is. I can hardly tell when it is running. The only things that I have to get used to (not really negatives) is that since this is a top control dishwasher I can’t see the countdown to the end of cycle. Also, since there is no “dry” cycle, dishes do come out wet at the end of the cycle, but since the stainless steel tub retains so much heat, the water evaporates very quickly. This is the best dishwasher I have ever owned.

After owning a single Bosch stainless tub dishwasher for 16 years. When it was time to replace it, we chose its contemporary counterpart. A stainless tub guaranteed for the life of the unit. 43db noise rating. Third row top rack. The bottom line, really clean dishes. We got used to not having to rinse stuff before putting them into our Bosch. This new one gets the job done quietly. Still trying to adapt to the new "tyne" positions. Glasses on top rack tend to wobble. Plates load north/south unlike the old Bosch which loaded east/west. We will get used to it. Very satisfied with product as well as Best Buy's professional installation.

Super quiet dishwasher... replaced a 17 year old Bosch dishwasher that was working well - problem was the top door trim control had discolor cost to replace was $400 not a good investment after 17 years.. New machine has 3 trays works great!

I originally steered away from the Bosch dishwashers as the remaining time readouts are all red LEDs. Personal opinion but I do not like the way it looks and the red readout definitely does not match the rest of my appliances. Based on photos I noticed that the NEW 2017 model readout changed to white. Unfortunately this is not the case. After installing the dishwasher i see that the digital readout is still the same. To give the washer the credit its due. It cleans the dishes really well and is extremely quiet... but there are other dishwasher manufactures that make the same quality machine that don't alter their final product from the photos and description on their website I feel a little comfort in knowing I purchased from Best Buy so I know I can return the product. Would I recommend this dishwasher. It depends on what you are looking for. As I said the machine works really well but it really irritates me when manufactures change the design and dont tell the consumer.

Did a ton of research before buying this Bosch. Paid almost a grand for it. Greek Squad did a great job with the installation. I was shocked. Unfortunately after two weeks it started to leak in the front door. At first I thought it was a fluke. Then today after 5 weeks since the install it's leaking again. Good thing I was home so I saw the soap coming out of the bottom of the door. I checked and the seals looks brand new nothing seems to be wrong with it. But if i close the door and start a cycle water would drip out from the bottom of the door. Very disappointed.

We just replaced the original Maytag dishwasher that was installed when the house was built in 2003. It never cleaned properly and recently had been leaking. It just had so many issues. I've had my eyes on Bosch 800 for a while, but I've been waiting. If you can wait, every a few months, Bosch offers free installation at Best Buy. So, we finally took the plunge and became $900 poorer. We just completed our first run, I loaded a pot that my mom made soup in 2 days ago and it had a ring of stain around it. I also loaded some pans and our regular plates and bowls and cups. 2 hour later, oh boy, that pot came out sparkling clean!!! I'm very very impressed. So here is the breakdown. Pros: - Cleans really really well, no need to pre-rinse. - Uses less than 3 gallons of water, other dishwasher uses 6+ gallons - Has 3rd rack, and all of them are adjustable easily - Super quiet at 42db Cons: - Built in panel means you don't know how long until it's done - Bosch has no heating element, so we have to keep door propped open after load is done. Otherwise, you will notice a pool of water on the inside of the dishwaser. - Option to do half load so you don't have to wait to pile up your dishes Best Buy used in-house Geek Squad agent for installation instead of 3rd party contractor. Manny was helpful and he shared some good tips. if you're unsure because this model is new for 2017, get it and you won't be disappointed. Absolutely the best out there!

Our new Bosch Series 800 Dishwasher surpasses all of our expectations. Though we were hesitant to spend $899 for a dishwasher, we have no regrets. The volume of dishes this machine holds was a big surprise. The top 3rd rack makes a big difference as well as how well the racks store the dishes with tines that flip up or down as needed. At 42 dba, the machine is so quiet you only know its running when the machine drains into the sink plumbing. This is our 2nd Bosch dishwasher. This machine is even better than the first in terms of drying the dishes and storage. And like all Bosch dishwashers, it has no exposed heating element that can melt or damage plasticware. Best Buy folks were great as always as well. I installed this machine myself, and was planning on reusing the original hose connections, but discovered the new dishwashers have a Garden Hose Style Connector for the water line, instead of a 3/8" brass fitting. In returning to Best Buy to buy the adapter, the sales personnel gave me a hose kit with the adapter at no extra charge. So great customer service on top of a great product makes for a great purchase and experience.

We've wanted to replace our very noisy dishwasher with something a lot quieter for some time now. Our house is open-plan; you can't run the dishwasher and watch a movie at the same time. Our old dishwasher finally died and we started looking. Another family member has a Bosch 800 series and we've read lots of good things about Bosch so we started our search there and decided that it really was the best choice. How quiet is it? The 800 has an info light that shines a solid red circle on the floor when it's running so that you'll know it's running. It's THAT quiet. There are some points in the cycle that you are more likely to hear some minor sound (like when it's draining) but the sound is never intrusive; turn it on and it fades away into the background. This is a great option for open plan homes. Convenience - The 800 comes with the a flatware rack (top), rack-o-matic and cup shelves for the middle rack and no exposed heating element. Both middle and bottom racks (I think) have adjustable tines that in addition to the fixed tines (the bottom rack for sure) The top rack is a shallow rack for flatware - an alternative to the traditional flatware basket (which is also included), I find the top rack far more convenient to use than the basket (which sits in a cupboard somewhere). There are small tines to support laying each piece of silverware on edge and separate from it's neighbors which helps ensure that they all get clean. Using the top rack for flatware instead of the basket also frees up space for more dishes in the bottom rack. The cup racks in the middle rack let you stack short items like tea cups, ramekins or similar; put some on the rack, fold down the shelf and place another row above the first. The shelves fold up if you need room for tall items instead. The rack-o-matic feature for the middle rack allows you to raise and lower the middle rack. The bottom and middle racks have different features and you'll likely find a particular height setting that works best for your dishes (I did) although it's really easy to adjust the rack as needed. The 800's heating element is tucked away in the guts of the machine somewhere not sitting exposed at the bottom of the tub waiting to melt anything that falls into it's maw. I put dishes where it's most convenient and don't worry about top rack vs bottom rack. We've been very pleased with the 800's cleaning results - it consistently does a great job of getting the dishes clean. Per the instructions, we don't rinse dishes before putting them in the dishwasher; we just scrape off any big pieces of food and put them right in the dishwasher. NOTE: The quietest dishwashers (across all brands) don't include a food grinder because these are noisy. They have a filter to catch big pieces of food instead. We were a little concerned about having a filter- another thing to maintain. But our family member who owns an 800 said they rarely if ever need to empty/rinse out the filter. After a month or so, that's been our experience as well; scrape the big pieces off before you put the dishes in the dishwasher and there won't be anything for the filter to do (FYI: the filter is permanent - not a consumable item). One observation - There has been a small (but very acceptable) learning curve for loading this dishwasher. The racks aren't like racks in other dishwashers I've used; there are lots of different ways to load dishes - especially with the adjustable tines, cup rack and rack-o-matic. After you've run a few loads, you'll learn to take advantage of the 800's flexibility. We are really pleased with the Bosch 800.

This dishwasher is amazing and I am so happy we purchased it. It is a standard size, making installation easy. The appliance is SUPER quiet and sleek. It looks great matched with our Samsung appliances. All of my dishes come out sparkling clean and bone dry. I will never be able to live without a third top rack again; the best feature ever! The only small negative I would give, is that the programming is not super intuitive. The touch buttons can sometimes not be as responsive as hoped, but this could just be me not being used to them. And I also haven't figured out what all is necessary if the dishwasher needs to be opened mid-cycle (i.e close and it resumes, do I have to push resume, etc). So I need to do some Google-ing, but in general I am very pleased with my purchase.

Replace my 12 year-old Bosch with this dishwasher. Incredibly quiet. Cleans dishes well. Great organization / capacity. Very clean look with no manufacturer name on the front, etc. Only negative is sometimes a glass or two will come out still wet because water pooled on top or inside..

The Bosch I replaced was purchased in 2003, so I knew I wanted another one. This dishwasher is even quieter than its predecessor! Only issue: I do not like the hidden controls as much as I thought I would. With the hidden controls, you have no clue on the remaining cycle time. Still highly recommend, but be aware of the small issue with the hidden controls.

This is a replacement for a bosch500 series unit. The previous unit had failed just aftet a year so best buy exchanged it for us. Kudos to best buy. So far, this unit seems to be better than the previous one; good fit and finish, the touch sense buttons work well, and it cleans well on just normal..so far. I'll keep an eye on all the different settings for evaluation. Overall we are happy with the new unit. It is very quiet and seems to dry the diahes a little better than the 500 unit. We'll see how this goes in time, as that was a problem with the older one. Service from best buy and the techs was great. The unit is expensive but will be worth it in the long run.
